Chapter 23

Joshua's P.O.V

It's been 3 weeks since I bought her promise ring and I had to hide it in Sofia's room so Bridgit wouldn't find it in my room every time she comes over.We ended the bet last night since it was the dead line, and told her to officially end it I would pick her up tomorrow and take her somewhere and I wouldn't tell her where but to dress Fancy. I dressed in a suit and went to pick her up.

Once I got to her apartment she was waiting for me outside, " You look stunning, breathtakingly beautiful." I said and smiled to no end, " Thank you, and you don't look too bad yourself Josh, so where are we going that we had to dress all fancy like?" She said and I was a gentleman and opened the car door for her and then went to my side and got in and we buckled up, " It's a Surprise!" I said and she got so annoyed it was adorable.

We got to a secret place I've always went too, it had lights hung up and table with Matt as our " Waiter". She looked at me when we got out of the car, " This is beautiful, did you come up with this by yourself?" She said as we walked to the table. " Y-Yeah." I said kind of nervous, I walked over and there was a giant heat in Rose Petals, I made her stand in the middle of it," What is all this for Joshua?" She said smiling but curious.

I held her hand and looked at her, " Bridgit Marie Carson, from the moment we first met I've loved you, we have been best friends for the longest times and we have had Several Ups and Downs. Honestly I wouldn't want it any other way. When we did that Truth and Dare 3 months ago, I only planned that game because it was a way I could ask you out or at least getting a chance with you, Larry, Sofia and Olivia knew all about it and planned it all before you came over that night. My surprise you agreed to the bet and look where we are now, here tonight, just us, Well and Matt, but let's ignore him." I said and she laughed a little and I saw Matt shaking his head.

" So what I'm trying to say is this?" I said and got on one knee." Bridgit Marie Carson, Will You Be my Girlfriend for real this time and forever?" I said and she just was shocked by the fact that I did any of this.
