Richie P.O.V

I was just sitting on the couch minding my own business when there was a knock on the door. Mom was in her room so I got up to answered. When I opened the door there was a boy there. He was around a foot or two taller than me and we had the same curly black hair and brown eyes.

"Can I help you?" I asked.

"Is this the Tozier household?" He asked, he had this Russian accent, it was cool. I nodded.

"Can I come in?" He asked. I just nodded again and let me him. We sat down on the couch, it was awkward for a minute until mom came down.

"Oh Boris!" She said, "You're here!" She knew him?

"Mom, who is he?" I asked.

"Your older brother," She said like is was no big deal.

"I don't have a brother." I told her. Boris just sat there quietly.

"You do, half brother, but still your brother." She said. She explained how his mom had died and how our dad went to jail, she didn't tell me why though, non of his other family wanted him so she took him in. He was going to stay in my room for a while because his room wasn't set up yet. Mom left the room and told me to show him to our room.

We got up there and he said, "Nice room, better than my old one."

"So uh, why did dad go to jail?" I asked, I hope it wasn't personal.

"Physical child abuse." He said. I didn't expect that, I mean I just thought it was something stupid like drugs but that! Bev and Eddie both have shitty parents and I just wish adults could be better people.

He shrugged, "Well I need to go call Potter, tell him I'm safe."

"Potter? Like as in Harry Potter?" I asked.

"Kind of, I call him Potter cause he looks like Harry Potter." He said and pulled out his phone and showed me picture of a boy. He had mess dirty blonde hair and roundish glasses. I see what he means by Harry Potter. Boris walked out of the room leaving his bag in a corner of the room.

I left the room, I was gonna call Eddie when I heard a laugh and someone say, "Lyubov' ta k Potteru." I couldn't understand it, it was in a different language. I just ignored it and went downstairs. I grabbed my phone from the side table and pulled up Eddies contact and called him. He answer a few seconds after I called.

"Hey Eds, can you round up the losers tomorrow, I want you guys to meet someone?" I asked.

"Sure, and don't call me Eds." I told him thanks, bye and hung up.

"Losers?" I heard someone ask, I could tell who it was because of the accent. Boris.

"It's what everyone else calls us." He nodded. "Hey, do you want to go to the arcade?" I asked.

"Sure, we didn't have one in where we lived in LA so Potter and I just went to the park." I nodded, we grabbed our phones and headed to the arcade.

"So, sense you lived in LA have you ever seen snow?" I asked. He looked at me.

"Yeah, I lived in Russia for a few years of my life." I nodded, it was cool. He had been everywhere! We entered the arcade and I saw Connor and the Bowers gang.

"Shit.." I muttered.

"What?" Boris asked.

"We need to-" I was cut off by Henry going, "Richie Tozier, what are you doing here? Trying to hit up my cousin again?" I had learned not to saw anything if I didn't want to get in trouble.

"Well?" Henry asked, "Say something you fag!" He yelled at me.

Boris stepped in front of me, "Don't talk to him that way you zasranets." I don't know what the last word he said was but Henry wasn't happy being stood up to.

"Boris don't," I whispered to him. I ignored me.

"And who's this Tozier? You're bodyguard?" Henry asked.

"I'm his brother, and we won't put up with your bullshit." Henry was mad. He pushed Boris and Boris shoved him back.

Connor came over and said, "Let's just go Henry."

Henry growled and said, "Fine, you'll pay for this Tozier." As they left Boris said something in another language and flicked them off.

"How'd you do that?" I asked, "We're all terrified of the Bowers gang."

He just shrugged, "I've lived with our father, he's nothing."
