Y/N: Your Name

E/C: Eye color

Also, I know Bucky Barnes isn't as tall as Sebastian Stan, but that's how tall Bucky is going to be in this story. OK, that's all, let's roll.

'Oh. My. God.'

The first thing you noticed about him was how tall he was, he had to be at least 6 feet tall. But he wasn't just tall, he was also, very handsome. He had short brown hair, a clean-shaved face, but what captivated you most, was his bright blue eyes. They were like the sky on a bright summer day but a thousand times more vibrant. You looked down from his face and towards his attire. He was wearing blue trousers and a light blue and green flannel button-up shirt with pockets on both sides.

You stood behind Steve with your jaw hanging down slightly. You saw him smile at Steve and say, "Punk."

"Jerk," Steve replied with a smile before they engulfed each other in a bear hug. Bucky looked at you as he pulled away from Steve and smiled at you.

"Hey," He said smiling at you, "I'm Bucky." You quickly closed your jaw but then opened it to speak.

"Uh, I-I'm Y/N," You stuttered and held out your hand as you mentally facepalmed. Why were you so awkward?

He grabbed your hand, and you almost fainted. You assumed he was going to shake it, but he just pulled you into a hug, similar to his and Steve's, but yours felt different. You didn't know quite what to do at this moment so you just hugged him back. He pulled away and put his hands on your shoulders and grinned.

"I've heard a lot about you, Y/N," He said, looking at you, your E/C eyes lock with his bright blue ones. 'God,' you thought, 'He's definitely going to be the death of me.'

"Likewise, Stevie here just won't shut up about you." You say as you glance at Steve with a smirk on your face. He just rolled his eyes and you returned your gaze to Bucky.

"Only good things I hope?" Bucky asked as he let go of your shoulders and put his hand on Steve's shoulders, gripping it tightly as Steve winces.

You flash him a bright smile and say, "So far." You turn around and grab your things.

You all walk to Bucky's car and start to cram all of Steve and your's things inside as your mother comes out of the house to say goodbye.

She walked up to you, her eyes brimmed with tears and says, "Oh, I'm going to miss the both of you so much," She says to both you and Steve as she pulls you into a hug.

You felt bad for your mom, you had never left her alone for more than a day or so, and you knew she wasn't going to handle it well. She never liked to be left alone, and when your Dad died, you and Steve were the only things she had left that mattered to her.

"Mom! Why are you crying?" You ask as you pulled away from her hug, wiping the tears off of her cheek with your thumb, "We're only going to be gone for a week."

"I know, I know, I'm being too dramatic, just stay safe please?" She asks, looking into your eyes with a sad smile placed on her lips, you nod and she leans and whispers into you hear "Also, don't do anything, you know, too crazy." She pulled away to looked at Bucky and then winked at you.

You gasped, "Mom! Of course not!" You blushed furiously, "I would never!"

She just laughed and gave you one last hug before you hopped in the car. You opened the door and sat in the back whilst Steve and Bucky sat in the front, with Bucky driving. You put on your seat belt and got comfortable. "So, what did mom tell you Y/N? You looked pretty embarrassed back there." Steve asked.

Your face flushed once more and you rolled your eyes, "It's none of your business," You say as you shove him back. He just laughs and faces forwards in his seat. Bucky starts the car and you start your journey.

Bucky was the first one to start a conversation and you were glad he did so because if you tried to do it, you would probably say something awkward or stupid, "So Y/N, do you have any hobbies?" He asks, glancing at you in the rearview mirror.

"Well," You began, "I love to draw, dance, but I love music, making music would be one of my favorite hobbies, but I'm going to study to become a nurse because I doubt I would get very far if I wanted to become a musician or a singer." You said sadly as you fiddled with the hem of your clothes, "Besides, I like to help people." You finished with a sad smile. You did love to help people, but music was everything to you, and you wanted to be able to have a job doing something you enjoyed.

"You should sing for me sometime," He said giving you a genuine smile as you looked and his bright blue eyes met with your E/C ones, "I'd really like that." He finished and your face flushed for the thousandth time as you cleared your throat, getting rid of the lump that was in it and said, "I doubt you would want to hear my singing," You said as you looked away, even though you didn't want to, "I would probably make your ears bleed."

He started laughing. It was a loud booming laugh, and the sound made you feel warm inside. Every time you made someone laugh, it sent a spike of happiness through you, but this one about made your heart burst, and you didn't understand why.

You started chuckling along with Bucky and when he finished he wiped some stray tears from his eyes, happy tears, and said, "We'll just see about that," And he then winked at you in the mirror.

You leaned your head against the car window, grabbing a thin, gray blanket and grinned as you looked outside at the buildings you were passing.

'This is going to be a great week' You though to yourself before falling asleep to Bucky's voice as he sang along to the songs on the radio.
