You opened your eyes and were greeted by bright sun rays peeking through the blinds of the windows of the cabin. You groaned and rolled over to the other side of the bed hoping to escape the blinding light, but to your dismay, there was a mirror on the other side of the room that was reflecting light from the window directly into your eyes. You grumbled and sat up in your cozy bed and looked around. There was light brown fuzzy carpet on the floor, wood walls, and some rustic furniture, including a large leather recliner in the corner of the room, which was your favorite as you could snuggle up into a blanket and sit and read a book on the comfortable chair.

You removed the covers from your legs and got off the bed and walked over to the wardrobe where your clothes were hanging up in. You grabbed a pair of blue slacks and a white blouse, along with some oxfords. You walked to the bathroom and did your hair and brushed your teeth.

You then walked downstairs to find Bucky and Steve sitting at the table in the dining room, both with bags under their eyes, drinking coffee. "Wow, you two look rough." You teased as you walked into the brightly lit dining room.

"Real kind of you, doll," Bucky said, taking a sip of his coffee.

"So what did you two stay up all night for?" You asked, pouring yourself a cup of coffee and adding lots of creamer and sugar in it.

"Just guy stuff," Steve said, "You wouldn't understand it anyway." You rolled your eyes and sat down next to Bucky.

"So what do you want to do today?" You asked the boys, who could barely keep their eyes open.

"Sleep," Bucky responded, "All day."

You chuckled at his dreariness and finished your coffee while chatting with the two boys. You finished your cup and stood up to put yours and the boys' cups in the sink. You quickly rinsed them off and walked outside to the dock where Bucky and Steve were sitting. You pulled out a folding chair and sat next to them and watched the little fish swim around the dock.

"Do you think there are any bears around here?" You asked Bucky who was soaking up the sun.

"Why?" He asked, "You scared?" He smirked and then got up from his chair and picked you up in a hug, "Aw, it's okay Y/N. I'll protect you." He set you down and ruffled up your hair and you just huffed and blew the hair out of your face.

"Whatever I could probably knock you on your ass, I took self-defense classes ya know." You scoffed and Bucky looked at you with a 'try me' look on his face.

"She's right Buck," Steve said, putting sunscreen on so he doesn't get sunburnt in the hot weather, "She's done it to me too many times to count." You thought back on how many times you've knocked Steve on his rear-end. You would've felt bad for him if he didn't deserve it, but we all know he did.

"To be fair, he deserved it," You replied with a grin on your face.

"I'd like to see it sometime," Bucky said giving you a sly grin, "You know, knock me on my ass."

You smirked at him and said, "Why wait?"  You grabbed his right upper arm and got in front of him and threw him over your back and onto the dock. He landed with a satisfying thud. You brushed off your hands and looked down at Bucky who was grimacing in pain and heard Steve laughing behind you, "I'm sorry, did I hurt you?" You fake pouted.

Bucky tried to laugh but turned out as groans and said, "Just a little." You laughed and held out your hand to help him up. He graciously accepted it and stood up and rubbed his back like an old man with back pain.

"I'm surprised you aren't paralyzed," Steve said, "That sounded awful."

"Yeah, yeah, I get it. I got my ass handed to me by a girl." Bucky said, swatting over at Steve who was still laughing at him. You laughed and patted his back forcefully, ensuring that he would grimace in pain.
