You bring light into the dark.
A firefly in the woods.
Moonlight fades.
Stars get jealous.
Looking at you is dangerous,
addictive.
But you don't know.
Your dark places are everything you see.
You don't see the light.
You don't see the glitter.
You need a mirror,
and I tried being one for you.
I wanted to show you what I saw.
I wanted you to love you,
like I did.
You didn't let me love you.
You felt judged.
You treated me like an enemy.
Turns out that's equal to you.
