Beverly woke up in an empty bed

Beverly woke up in an empty bed. She looks around in Sebastian's trailer and sees him sitting by the table, scrolling on his phone and looking dead serious. It made her wonder, something bad must've happened.

She slowly got up from bed, making her way over to her boyfriend. She put her hand on his shoulder, but he shrugged it off.
"What's wrong?" She asked, concern written all over her face. He just turned his head away.

"Sebby, hey, I'm talking to you." She tried to get his attention. She didn't understand, did she do something wrong? She's been trying to be a good girlfriend. Did she screw something up now?

"Giving me the cold shoulder now, are you? And what for exactly?" She asked. Sebastian didn't answer anything, or that's what she thought until he said, "I know about you and Tristan."

Confusion hit her. Tristan and her? What about them? Last time she saw Tristan was yesterday evening when they went to the gym together.
"What do you mean?" She asked.

Sebastian handed her his phone. There was a new article from E!online. The title of if already made her heart stop for a moment. She read the whole article very quickly. She couldn't believe her eyes when she saw the picture.

"Do you believe this kind of bullshit? I would never, I said never kiss Tristan!" She exclaimed, hurt in her voice. How could Sebastian believe these articles. All they do is lie. She would never throw away a good relationship. And she and Sebastian were doing so well already.

"I don't know what to believe," Sebastian stated. "but can you explain the picture?"
"It's obviously photoshopped!" She said firmly. It was true. There's no way someone could've taken a picture of him and her kissing in the gym. That's never happened and never will.

"How can I be sure? How could they find a picture of someone else in the same gym clothes as you and photoshop them there? Tristan, too. It's hard to believe." He said. She threw her arms up in the air, "fine. Don't believe me. It's nice how you believe some goddamn article over your girlfriend. I'm out."

She grabbed her things and walked out of the trailer. He didn't even try to stop her. That made her feel sharp pain in her chest and stomach, like her heart ached. She walked all the way to her own trailer and slammed its door shut behind her once she got in.

She threw her things to the corner of the sofa before breaking down to tears. She hoped this wouldn't be the end of their relationship. It can't end to a lie. She wants to prove him they did not kiss at the gym yesterday but she didn't know how.

She decided to ask Tristan since this was about him, too. Tristan picked up almost immediately.
"Hey, what's up?" Tristan asked.
"Nothing good. Did you read the new article about us? Because Sebastian certainly did." She said, sadness clearly in her voice.

"Yes I did and it's obviously a lie. He didn't believe you?" He asked. She mumbled something he couldn't make out, but he understood what she meant. Concern filled his mind, "how did he react?"

"I'm not sure, he found out before I woke up. But he wasn't happy about it. He actually thought it was true and didn't listen to me." She explained to her best friend. There was a long silence, both didn't say anything. They were both thinking, should they say something?

"You need to have a serious talk about this. I can come with you, if that makes things easier. But you need to talk to Sebastian about this or your relationship might end as quickly as it started. I love you and I want the best for you and, in this case, the best is Sebastian." Tristan cut the silence finally and told her.

She hummed in approval. "You're right. Maybe you should come, it might be for the better if things go awry." She replied. With this they ended the call. She knew he would be right on his way and soon here. She wiped the tears away from her face with her thumb. She got up from the floor. She was still in her pj's and decided to change quickly before Tristan would arrive.

She changed in basic light blue, ripped jeans, red tank top and black leather jacket. It was the first working mix she was able to find from her small closet.
Soon there was a knock on the door of her trailer. She opened the door and stepped outside, where Tristan was waiting for her.
"You ready?" He asked with concern filled eyes. She nodded as a yes.

Once they got behind Sebastian's door, she began to hesitate. Was this actually a good idea? What if he needed to calm down before he could actually talk?
"C'mon, knock." Tristan urges. She takes a deep breath and does just that. She was afraid that Sebastian wouldn't open the door for her but for their surprise he did.

Sebastian looked at both Beverly and Tristan with a stern expression on his face. Tristan looked confident, which was exactly the opposite what Beverly felt. She was nervous as hell. She was nervous to talk to him, not because she was afraid to get caught of a "lie" but if she would screw up and their relationship would end.

"We want to talk." Tristan said once he noticed she wouldn't be able to do it.
"Fine. Come in." Sebastian invited them in.
