I reread my chapters and for some reason I feel like I've already written about James and Steve going to visit his mother but I couldn't find it in my book! Maybe I wrote it down on one of my many story boards... Anyway if this is repeated tell me and i'll change the chapter okay?

Thanks,

Courage.

James's POV

I left Isabella as soon as she stepped in the lab. It figures out of both of us she would get some kind of weird kink in her. A good kink. She has parents who are both completely human and she's the one who is a parallel to my father? Ridiculous. Why did everything have to move so fast in this place anyway? I'm going slow, barely making any progress. I would never be a master assassin, how could I be? I have too much "normal" blood in my veins. I walked back to the training room where Tony Stark and Captain Rogers were waiting for me. Stark was standing on the balls of his feet, his arms crossed and his eyebrows knotted together. My father had a similar stance, they looked like they would fight over anything and everything. My appearance rid them of their furrowed brows.

"So what more training?" I asked when none of them said anything.

"No, I was thinking maybe you'd like to visit your mother." Steve said. He seemed wary about the idea but I had wanted to see my mother desperately.

"I can go see her?" It had been so long, almost a month.

"I feel like we owe your mother an explanation, don't you?" He said.

I nodded, I was happy to go see my mother but I was worried at the same time. What if World War III  broke out in our old apartment. We hadn't heard from Loki in a while either... what if he has her? Steve noticed the worried expression on my face but didn't say anything.

"SHIELD has agents surrounding your apartment, don't worry she's fine." Stark said.

"Okay, when do we leave?"

"After you've showered and changed." My Father said.

I walked off to the showers, eager to see my mother. I showered and got dressed in less than half an hour. I looked at myself in the mirror, my hair had grown longer and more ragged. The blonde had a slight brown underneath now. My nose had a bruise on it from where Isabella had struck me down the first day of training. I put my hand to the back of my head feeling around for the small bump where i'd been hit one too many times, I found it and winced slightly knowing it was always going to be a soft spot for me. I left the room without so much as a glance back passing down the cold metal hallways. My sneakers making soft noises with each step I took. I met up with my father on the bridge, he was dressed like an old man. Light brown pants and a plaid shirt, I could just see his white t-shirt beneath it. It's been almost twenty years unfrozen for him you'd think he'd learn how to dress. He turned to me, his brow furrowed in worry. I could tell he was nervous... he hadn't seen my mother in 17 years. Even I was a bit worried as to how she would react when she opened the door and saw the two of us standing there.

"Ready to go?" He asked.

I nodded following him to the hanger where all the air craft was kept. Two shield agents nodded at us and we walked up the ramp and into the small jet. Apparently since I was picked up we were far away from New York City. I got strapped into my seat, Steve looked uncomfortable stepping into an airplane again. I chalked it down to bad memories from the attack on New York. He sat across from me just as Tony Stark came into the aircraft.
