Deep in space, many vorns from Cybertron, a ship drifted through the stars. It was a decent size, and was a dull metallic grey in color. Its make suggested it was an Autobot -one of the two fractions in the Cybertron Civil War- scout ship. One of the many sent our to find and retrieve the Allspark.

From the ship, five energon signals could be picked up. Inside the ship itself, one could find these signals were originating from the Med-bay. In said area, there were five bots. One femme and four mechs.

"Slaggit Striker!" One of the mechs clicked in Cybertronian. "You're worse than Ratchet!! The complaining bot was Springer, a bulkier bot known as a Wrecker, and the femme leaning over his arm was Stromstrike. She was a scout and a sniper, acting as the squads temporary weapon's specialist, seeing as her brother was the best, and CMO, because she had the most medical training. Currently, they had all gone through a routine systems check up, -Kup doing Stormstrikes for her- Springer going last.

"Just be glad she doesn't have any wrenches." One of the three mechs who had already gone through the rather uncomfortable process -Hound, a tracker- pointed out.

"Don't tempt me."  Stormstrike smirked, prodding at a sensitive cable. This caused the wrecker on the berth below her to squirm. "Frag! Stop moving!"  She scolded him. One of the other mechs -Bluestreak, another sniper- snickered.

"You two argue like old spark mates." As soon as the thought left his mouthplates, two rather threatening looks came his way. One from Stormstrike, the other from Spriner.

"Bluestreak, stop while you're still online." Kup, the leader of the squad and one of the oldest Autobots in the war, patted the younger mech on the shoulder plate. He then turned to look at Stormstrike. "Are you almost done?" She pulled on a wire she knew registered pain, causing Springer to yelp, before nodding.

"All of us are ready to offline any 'Con that tries to attack us."   Though there was a teasing tone to her words, the message was serious. They all knew the very real threat of a Decepticon attack, especially being such a small squad.

"Well then, back to your stations!"  The older mech ordered. Immediately, the bots were back on the bridge and at their posts. Hound plotted their course and kept watch for any 'Cons, Bluestreak and Springer piloted the ship, while Stormstriker monitored the sonars for any trace of the cube and kept an audio receptor open for any transmissions being sent their way. Finally, Kup stood in the center of the bridge, over seeing them all.

They all continued as usual till a planet came into view. It was smaller than Cybertron, that was obvious. But it looked far more full of life than their war ravaged home world. Land masses were a lively green and oceans were a deep blue.

"Primus." Hound gaped at the planet, entranced by its beauty. The other four bots had similar thoughts, though they didn't show on their face plates."

"Stormstrike, can you get any readings?" The femme looked at her screen before answering Kup.

"No, we're out of range." Hearing this, Bluestreak increased their speed as they made their way closer to the planet. When they were in range, Stormstrike gasped. "Kup, I think you should look at this."

The older mech made his way over to her screen, optics widening at what he saw.

"Primus! We found it!"  On the monitor, clear as can be, was the Allspark's energy signal. Immediately Kup started to giving orders. "Bluestreak, bring us close. Hound, find out what you can on the local speices. Springer, go over to Stormstrike's station and keep an optic out for any 'Cons, don't need those fraggers getting the Allspark first. And Stormstrike?" The femme turned around as she got up so Springer could take over, facing the old Mech.

        "Yes?"

"Get ready to deploy." There was a smirk on her faceplates as she heard this.

"Copy." She was about to leave for the hanger, when warning lights started flashing.

"Incoming Decepticons." Springer warned, looking up  from his monitor. "I'll try and identify which of the fraggers it is."  There was a moment of pure silence before the wrecker started frantically pushing buttons.

"What is it?"  Bluestreak questioned, fear lacing his voice. If Springer was worried, it couldn't be good. The wrecker turned around as soon as he had done something, setting the ship in lock down.

"Megatron. And there are more with him."  That was all any of the bots needed to get moving. Instead of just Stromstrike, all of them rushed to the hanger. If Megatron was after the Allspark, they wouldn't be able to stop him in a fight. At least, not with their numbers. All they could do was get to it first, and hopefully hide it from the Decepticon leader.

Each of the Autobots went to their own assigned pod, ready to jettison out toward the blue and green planet. A location quickly flashed across each of their HUDs, on that Hound had selected for a landing spot.

"Stay in contact through Comm. with each other, and try to stick to the course." Kup informed all of them, getting affirmative replies from each.

"See you on the ground." Hound said, just as they launched. Seconds later, a missile hit the ship, blowing it to pieces.
