Chapter 26

Kaliah's POV

Quay stood up to take his basketball shorts off when there was a knock at the door .

" FUCK ! " he yelled .

Whoever it was started to get impatient because the started banging louder . I stood up and walked in the bathroom to clean myself while he went to the door . When I walked out the room I hear Quay whispering to the person .

" Why are you here ? ... I don't care what the fuck is going on ! I just got shot where were you ! Plus me and Kaliah just got back together you always fucking shit up ! "

I walked into the living room to see tiara and her big baby belly . Her stomach brought tears to my eyes . I really wanted that baby to not be quay's . I wanted to be his first .

" What's going on and why is she here ?" I asked .

" Baby stay calm she just came over to talk about the baby "

" Look Kaliah , I know you don't like me but I am the mother of Quay's child .. This baby is coming and I need help .. It's a Girl by the way . " Says Tiara.

" I don't believe you honestly .. The math is NOT adding up , but because I'm his woman and that MAY be his seed I have to respect it all the same because that child hasn't done anything wrong . We won't be buying anything or giving you money until we know for sure the baby is his ."

Quay looked at me with shock in his eyes . I was over fighting bitches over little petty shit . I was about to graduate highschool and it was time to grow up . This was a life I choice to fall in love with a thug so I gotta put up with the women , the late nights , the hospital scares .. Everything . Tiara rolled her eyes and left the house and that was the last time I saw her personally .

~ APRIL~

Kaliahs POV

I can't believe it's April ! One more month until graduation! I was still in my apartment with Briana and Quay was at his house with Reggie. Right now it was just Briana and me on the couch watching Jerry Springer . She was eating me out of a house and a home y'all . I text bae to see what he was up to because I was starting to miss him .

Me : Baby ? 😔
My Hubby 😍💞: yea bae wats da matta?
Me : I miss you 😑🙈
My Hubby : I miss you 2 I'm On my way!

I put the phone down and started watching tv . Minutes later I had dozed off.

When I woke up it was dark outside and Quay still haven't came . I checked my phone and he hadn't called or text me . I started getting angry because that wasn't like him really . I saw Briana on her phone .

" Has Quay Been By ?" I asked .

" No but I know why girl ! " Briana replied .

" why ?"

" check lil Thotty Instagram "

I figured she was talking about tiara so I went on her page . She uploaded a picture 3 hours ago with the caption

" This little family on mines 💞😍👪"

I saw Quay on the picture holding the little girl . My eyes filled with tears . Fuck man . I got up and put in some shoes and grabbed my keys . Briana hopped up and headed behind me . After we got in the car we headed to the hospital .

When I got there I asked the nurse could she tell me to Tiara Johnson's room .

" 342 ma'am" she replied .

I smiled and nodded and headed to the room . When I got their I didn't open it. For some reason i couldn't bring myself to open the door . Briana rubbed my back . I knocked then open the door . When I walked in I saw Quay and the baby in a chair beside Tiara . They looked like one happy family .

" Hi " I said with my voice cracking . I was doing my best to hold back tears .

Quay looked up and his smiled dropped . He handed the baby to Tiara and came toward me .

" Hey Baby I'm sorry about earlier I was gonna call " he stated .

" it's fine .. What did y'all name her ?" I asked .

" Sabrina Michelle " Tiara stated while smirking . I completely ignored her .

" Last Name ?" I asked Quay .

" that's what I wanted to talk to you about .. Can we talk in private ?" He asked .

I walked out the room and headed outside with Quay behind me . When I got outside I just stood there . Looking at him . I wanted to hear him say anything .. Something .

We started talking at the same time so I stopped .

" you go first " I said .

" No You "

" Quay ... I know that the baby is beautiful and you want the precious to be your , but do the smart thing .. Don't give her your last name until they run a test ."

" The Baby is mines Kaliah "

" Wh-what did you get a DNA ? " I asked .

" No .. But the baby looks like me when I was little . She mines Kaliah ."

" That doesn't mean shit quay ! That's what she wants you to think . That you don't need a fuckin test but you do .. You know she's a hoe ! "

" Kaliah Stop Damn it ! I know what I want to do and I'm not getting a DNA ! I see how that girl resembles me and if you can't oh well .. Either you with me or you not "

For a minute I just looked at quay . I could feel the hot tears dripping down my face . He looked at me with the most apologetic stare . The man that I was in love with was giving me a ultimatum. I thought I was strong but I wasn't. I'm not built for this shit .

" I'm Out " I said .

" what ? Really man !" He screamed . A few tears dropped down his face as I reached for him . He snatched a away .

" whatever Kaliah .. Just leave "

I walked to the car and text Briana . I sat their until she came . I cried so much that night cause honestly I was still in love with JayQuavion , and as much as I wanted to be built for his lifestyle I wasn't . I couldn't take it anymore . Fuck it .

Quay POV

I Couldn't believe that Kaliah had just broke up with me again . That girl was my heart man . I didn't want that Little girl in that room to grow up without a father like I did . I know y'all probably like I should call Kaliah , but I can't . I'm tired of her running from every single problem . One minute she down and the next she not . I wasn't with that shit anymore . I walked back into the hospital room , and took the baby away from Tiara . She started talking a lot of shit and I wreaks wasn't trying to hear it . As I looked down at the little girl I realized that I don't have to be her father to be their for her .

" Tiara .. I changed my mind . I'm getting a DNA "

" So that bitch comes in here and changes you mind ?! Get out quay ! We don't need you ! If you feel like she ain't yours why are you even here !"

" first of all you don't get to disrespect her EVER ! I can't tell this baby is going to need somebody to be here for her cause you the most stupid , ignorant person I have ever met . "

I sat the baby down and left to go clean my mind . I just prayed to god he would work everything out .
