Chapter 5

The next day, Cheryl, Jason and Drake all went to the Dr. to get the autopsy report. The redhead's heart was beating very fast during the drive because all she could think about was if Toni had anything to do with it. Deep down in her heart, she knew the brunette wouldn't do such a thing, but she had to be sure.

So there she was with the Dr., Jason and Drake sitting in his office waiting for the man in white coat to start speaking. "I want to start by saying, my condolences. And as for the autopsy, I just wanted to tell you that there was no need for an autopsy, because everything was clear." He then looked at Jason, "Your mother's heart attack was due to electric sessions in the mental facility you had her in."

Cheryl glared at her brother, yes after everything has happened and after the failed attempts of Elena trying to take out her own life, Jason admitted his mom to a mental hospital but he never thought it would lead to her death.

Jason cleared his throat and looked at the man. "I don't understand."

"Your mother went through three electric sessions within a small period and that may cause the heart to stop."

Hearing this Cheryl went in shock. Why would her mother need three sessions? Did someone pay the Doctors there? She then looked at her brother who was biting his lip. "Do you mean she was killed?"

The Dr. shook his head. "That is not what I meant. What I am trying to say is that she was taking anti depressants along side with electric shock sessions, it could happen to anyone no matter how old they are.

Jason smacked the table as he stood up, causing the others to shoot a worried look towards each other. "Do you really want to convince me that they didn't know my mom's condition?!"

"Jason calm down!" Drake spoke calmly.

The Dr. stood up and gave an envelop to Jason. "Of course they knew, that is why I am asking myself why would they give her sessions when they know her heart can't take it, my advice is go to the mental health center and ask them."

The redheaded man shook his head as he looked at Cheryl. "It's all your lovers fault! If she hadn't come back and dug up out past mother would still be here!" He said in anger as he felt Drake's arms trying to calm him down.

Cheryl took the envelope from the Dr and glared at her brother. "Jason, Outside now!" She said as she walked out the office, with Jason and Drake following behind. Once they were in the hall Cheryl spoke again. "I am not saying to ignore this but we have to make sure of everything before pointing fingers!"

"Don't you dare Cheryl! Someone paid to get my mother hurt! And I know exactly who it is!" He said yelling angrily at his sister.

"But we still don't know what exactly happened there! And someone paid them? Really Jason?"

Jason scuffed. "Of course you don't want to believe that. We all know the only person who has motive. But again, you don't want to believe that the person you love was the one who did it."

"Stop this nonsense Jason! What you are saying doesn't make any sense. Let's go to the center and then we will see what are we going to do. And don't forget, I want to know what happened to her more than you Jason."

The redheaded boy scuffed. "You don't care about all of this because if you cared, you would have visited or talked to her instead of disappearing."

"She's much as a mother to me as to you! Stop with this bullshit!" She said stormed out angrily.

But before she could walk away Jason grabbed her arm harshly. "When Toni found out that our mother killed her parents, she didn't keep quiet. She left you within minutes." He said with a smirk.
