*follow D through a maze of stalegmites* *enter into large fire lit cavern full of ppl*
D: this is the Hub, the central cavern where most of the tunnels lead to. It's also where the Undergrounders meet up.
Flitt: Undergrounders?
D: yes. We all had to retreat into these tunnels because of the War.
Flitt: War?
D: *stops and looks at Flitt* you don't know abt the War?
Flitt: *shakes head*
D: where have you been?
Flitt: not here, evidently.
Root: hey, Hiccup!
Hiccup: *looks surpised* hi?
Root: why are you here?
Hiccup: trying to figure out how to stop the war and why ppl are being teleported in here.
Flitt: can we help?
Hiccup: no, it's fine.
D: come on, your way home is this way. *begins to walk off*
Flitt and Root: *follow with a glance at Hiccup*
Hiccup: wait a moment! Where did you both come from?
Root: Berk.
Flitt: same place as you.
Hiccup: Berk *smiles faintly* long time since I've been there.
Flitt: but... You were there when we left as far as I know.
Hiccup: was I? I must go back later on. I've not seen either of you before.
Flitt: but...
Root: you know us! I'm Root, the one who blew your house up.
Flitt: and I'm Flitt. You rescued me from that Hunter ship.
Hiccup: *stares at both* idk you.
D: *is getting impatient*
Hiccup: *without looking away from Flitt and Root* you can go, D. Thx for looking after these two.
D: but—
Hiccup: it's fine, I can take it from here.
Flitt and Root: *glance at each other*
D: *turns and merges with crowds*
Hiccup: Alrighty! How did you get here?
Flitt: *glares at Root* he knows.
Root: I just found a disc with a button on it and left it on the floor...
Flitt: ...and made me stand on it.
Root: you're the one who stepped back!
Hiccup: where did you find this disc?
Root: half buried in the ground.
Hiccup: and what colour?
Root: silver. It looked like it used to have a strap on it.
Hiccup: hmmm *looks at weird blue box nearby* I think I will take a look. Stay here. *strides to box*
Flitt: no, Chief. We're coming too. *runs after him*
Hiccup: *stops and turns* Chief? But my dad's the Chief.
