"Take a seat." The large man said, gesturing to a chair completely separate from the others. There only chairs on one side of the table so they all faced me. There were 5 of them and James stood at the door. They all looked at me with similar intense looks with something in their eyes I had never seen. I couldn't figure out what it was.

The large man was sitting directly in front of me, clearly the leader of whatever this thing was. On his right was Warrick and to his left Sam. I was a little relieved to see Sam's face, I mean, why would she save me just to hurt me?

"Well there's no point avoiding the subject, we might as well just out it out there." Warrick started. "What do you think is going on?"

I had a couple theories running. I kind of figured they weren't human a while ago, with all of the growling and the fact that they said 'I smelled human'.

"I know you're definitely not human, that's for sure... I don't know what mate is or why you keep calling me that or what you are or what the hell you are though... My best guess is werewolf like in teen wolf."

Warrick tilted his head in confusion, "Teen wolf?"

"How do you not know teen wolf? The tv show?"

They all shook their head in confusion at this.

"There is some guy that like gets bitten by a wolf or something an the he like grows hair everywhere and like growls and stuff when he's mad... I don't know I only saw it once when I was like 4 so..."

They all blinked at me. "I mean, she's not wrong." Warrick muttered.

"You're... sort of right. We are werewolves." The leader said.

My face went blank. I was kind of joking I mean, do they really sprout hair when they get mad and like growl and stuff? I mean I guess I witnessed it but still.. We all sat there in silence for a moment, everyone waiting for my reaction. They seemed tense like they were ready for me to run or something but I just sat there, staring blankly.

After a couple more seconds of silence a snort left my nose and I burst out into laughter. At this one of the people I recognized from when I first arrived even jumped. They all looked at me, shocked as I gripped my stomach and slapped the table.

I was literally crying, I was laughing so hard. When I wiped the tears and looked up and saw their faces covered in fear a whole new round of laughter hit me. I laughed so hard I actually managed to fall off of my chair, making a couple of them gasp.

I just laid there on the ground, crying of laughter, gripping my stomach in pain, slapping the floor. Sam came and stood over me, looking very concerned, making me laugh harder. After a couple minutes I managed to get myself together enough to sit back up on the chair.

I still had a giant smile on my face, trying to hold back the laughter. "Are you done now?" The leader man asked. I nodded my head a little, still wiping the tears from my eyes.

"So," I said, taking deep breaths trying to calm myself down. "Are you gonna like, eat me?"

Their eyebrows scrunched together, "No, why would you think that?" James asked from the door.

"Alright!" I said, putting on a friendly smile, "Then I'm gonna just, hard out" I said, pointing my thumbs awkwardly towards the door.

At this James squared his shoulders, covering the door.

"I'm sorry, but we can't let you do that." the leader said, his face getting intense. I nodded, slipping on my face of indifference. I looked around for another escape discretely, staring up, pretending to pace the room. The window was only two floors up, I could make the jump. I probably wouldn't die and someone was bound to spot me and save me.
