Surviving High School

CHAPTER TWO

Charlotte's pov

It's the start of the school year for Mia, Anshley and Charlotte. They have to survive high school together.

"I can't believe we're going to high school already! Time went by so fast...but at least I get to spend my high school life with my best friends!" Charlotte said to Mia and Anshley on the phone.

"Me too! I'm so excited!" Said Mia.

"Well, if you want to enjoy high school, we better have a good nights rest before the first day of school," Anshley said.

Charlotte, Mia and Anshley agreed, they hung up on the phone and went to sleep.

On the first day of high school, they decided to meet outside of their school, CrystalWood High, which was one of the top few schools in the area.

Charlotte was the first to arrive there, as it was spring time, she wore a loose white singlet with a black star in the middle, black high waisted shorts, black high tops and she carried a maroon converse bag pack.

While she was waiting for her friends, she went to turn on her kpop music ; Charlotte is a huge fan of kpop. A few minutes later, Charlotte saw Mia and Anshley.

Mia was wearing a gold statement necklace and a turquoise crop sweater with white high waisted shorts, a cute pair of turquoise studded sandals and carried a turquoise bag pack with diamond studs.

Anshley wore a floral dress with a thin grey cardigan over the dress, a pair of pastel pink sandals and carried a pastel pink bag with hearts on it.

They entered the doors of CrystalWood High and had a smile on their faces. The three best friends headed to the school's auditorium to collect their class schedule and their locker numbers.

"Woah our lockers are just right beside each other coincidence much," Anshley squealed.

Mia was staring at her plain boring grey locker with a thoughtful expression, probably thinking about giving it a makeover and stuff.

"What do you have for first period?" Charlotte asked.

"I have English." Anshley said.

"I have Chemistry." Mia said.

"Me too! Hope you enjoy English! I heard that the English teacher is super nice!" Charlotte said.

"I wish I could go to the same class with you and Mia though..." Anshley said with a frown on her face.

"It's okay, I'm sure we have other classes together." Mia said positively.

They waved goodbye and went to their classes.

Charlotte and Mia entered their class, they went to the front row of the right side of the class table together.

When everyone settled down, the teacher introduced himself and said,"Good morning class! My name is Mr Rae and I am your chemistry teacher. So, first things first, did you guys think I would allow you to sit with your friends? HAH! YOU! Go switch with Mr. Linson," Mr Rae pointed at Mia.

Charlotte saw that Mia had to sit next to the stuck up "princess" so she whispered to Mia,"Good luck with your new chemistry partner."

Mia winked at Charlotte and whispered back, "You too."

While Mr Rae was shifting people, the guy Mr Rae switched Mia with said,"Hi, I'm Ryder, Ryder Lindson."

Charlotte knew why Mia winked just now, it's because Ryder was cute. He had golden brown hair that matched his sparkling brown eyes and a smile that could melt anybody's heart.

"I'm Charlotte. I'm guessing you're a basketball player?"

"How'd you know?" Ryder asked.

"Well, you're wearing a letterman jacket and this school is kinda known for their basketball team so I just assumed you were from Basketball. "Charlotte replied,"but one question though,"

"What?" Ryder asked.

"We're all freshmen, how did you get in the team just on the first day?"

"I got into this school by Basketball," Ryder said proudly,"and if I do say so myself I'm kinda a brainiac." 

They continued talking and talking until Mr Rae was done with shifting people.
