2 - The first fight

Ectris snaps awake when he feels the summoning of Berserker begin, instantly knowing that something isn't right.

He focuses and sees that a big cult is doing the summoning, when he realises who or rather what it's being summoned Ectris quickly shoots up surprising Solomon who is reading one of Ectris's books on Ectris's bedrooms windowsill.

Solomon puts his book down and watches as Ectris quickly gets dressed before grabbing his arm and rushing outside to find Enkidu who is with Gilguard.

"Master?" Solomon asked as he's pulled along the hallways.

"Berserkers summoning has began we need to go now so that the moment it arrives we can take it down. If we wait too long it will be too late." He told Solomon as he lets go of his arm to tie his hair up.

They arrive outside to see Gilguard and Enkidu ready to go.

"Gilguard told me." Enkidu said before Ectris can speak.

"Good, then we should get going. Solomon." Ectris replied as he went over to a circle on a platform in the courtyard and ordered Solomon to activate it when they were all on it.

Solomon nods in understanding and the platform glows brightly before golden light surrounds them.

A moment later they are inside a deep underground cavern that is filled with the stench of fresh blood.

They quietly made their way through the stone corridor that they arrived in but then suddenly Ectris bumps into someone who was coming down the entrance tunnel.

Three servants got ready to fight.

Ectris looks down at who he bumped into to see a teenager with white hair and a red cloak with a cross hanging around his neck.

He quickly held up his hand to tell his servants to not engage. "Shirou Kotomine. What are you doing here?" Ectris asked looking down at the boy in confusion.

Shirou looked up at him and let out a sigh of relief seeing that he's not a member of the cult. But then froze when he realised that the stranger knows his name. 'He has two servants with him, Caster and Lancer.' He heard Avenger warn him. So he's a master.

"Um sorry I don't think I know you, but I'm guessing that you're a fellow master. Why are you here?" Shirou asked looking at the man. Is it possible that he's also a member of the cult, no he has a different kind of energy around him, a warmer one.

"Ah, sorry that was rude of me since you asked first. I felt a disturbing energy so I came to check it out." Shirou quickly amended.

"I see. I am Ectris Sumer, the master of Caster and Lancer. I came for the same reason though I plan to take down Berserker before he can cause any damage." Ectris told the boy whilst offering him a hand to help him up.

Shirou accepted the hand and dusted his cloak. "Berserker's here but I thought he hasn't been summoned yet." Shirou said in confusion.

"He's currently being summoned." Ectris's told him before seeing a bright light come from the end of the corridor. "Tch, we need to hurry." He said to his servants before quickly running in the direction of the light.

"Wait. Im coming too." Shirou yelled chasing after them.

"You should leave its too dangerous for you." Ectris called back before stopping at the end that is a cliff leading down into a giant tavern. Shirou runs next to him but doesn't stop in time so Ectris caught his hood and pulled him up.

The gigantic space is filled with dead bodies and a group a cloaked figures standing around a brightly glowing summoning circle, but what caught the two masters eyes the most is the gigantic creature that fills the cavern that is stood above the cloaked figures.
