The next day at school, I searched for Cody but he was nowhere to be seen. What happened to him yesterday was still a mystery for me. He was sweating and then left without any explaination. On my way to english class I bumped into Fred. "Hy little Ev." He smiled at me.
"Hi. Have you seen Cody?" I asked him. "Nope. Why? Where's he?" He asked and looked at me. "I wouldn't have asked you if I knew." I rolled my eyes.
"Whatever." He said in a girly tone and rolled his eyes, trying to copy me. "Yeah yeah. Keep on doing that, maybe you'll find a brain back there." I tried to stop my laughter. "You did the same." He whinned like a baby and stomped his foot.
"I have class. See you later. Bye." I dodged him and started walking towards my class.
The day went in a blur and soon I was walking to the parking lot because Liam messaged me to meet him at thehe parking lot when I'm free from school. I hadn't still seen Cody. Cody didn't come school today, he was nowhere to be seen. Nobody else saw him either.
"Wait up!" Alan's voice boomed in the corridoor as it was already empty and everyboy else were gone home. I turned around and saw Alan running towards me. "What?" I asked.
"You don't have to be soo rude." He said and I rolled my eyes. "Well, I know why you're soo off today." He bumped his shoulder with mine purposefully and gave me a teasing look. "What do you mean?" I asked.
"Don't be a clueless baby, Ev." We both stopped walking. "You miss him." He leaned in and whispered in my ear. I knew exactly what he was talking about but I tried to act innocent. "Who?" I batted my eyelashed.
"One and only. Your true lover. Cody Anderson." He announced. "He's not my lover." I started walking again. He had been doing this lately. He teased me about Cody and wouldn't stop until I bush like a freaking tomato. He said that it was obvious that I was in love with him because the way we both look at each other and the way my face lit up whenever he's around.
"He's just my crush." I told him for the millionth time. "Suree." He caught up with me. I didn't know why he was forcing me to confess that I love cody. I didn't know what I feel for him. It was soo damn confusing.
"It's useless to argue with you." I rolled my eyes and picked up my pace. I turned the first corner and walked as fast as I could. I didn't want to talk to Alan anymore because I knew something like "He's so damn hot" will come out of my mouth and I knew I could stop blushing.
I entered my english class and the first thing my eyes did were roam around the whole class in search of a certain someone but unfortunately he wasn't there. I got to my seat and took out my phone. Thank god the teacher wasn't there because he never allowed anyone to use phone in his class. I quickly sent Cody a text asking where he is.
When the teacher entered the class I tossed my phone in my bag and focused my attention on the teaher but I couldn't fully focus.

The day rolled off and soon I was standing in the parking lot, waiting for Liam to show up. I was lost in my thoughts. Where could he be? I messaged him many times but he didn't reply. He didn't even pick up my calls. He usually never skipped school.
The thing that happened yesterday at my house left me startled. After seeing mom's picture his face was like he had seen a ghost. He rushed out of my house without any explaination. He didnt even contact me after running away from my house.
"Earth to Eva!" Liam yelled and I turned to him. Fred and Drake were standing behind him with goofy smiles on their faces. "Who were you thinking about?" Fred came towards me and wriggled his eyebrows. "No one." I rolled my eyes.
"Uhuh. It was someone." He said in some creppy stalkers voice. "Leave the girl alone!" Drake shook his head before getting into Liam's car. Liam chuckled and patted Fred's shoulder before getting in the drivers seat while Fred stood still. He watched me curiously, waiting for me to spill the beans. I groaned and got in the back seat.
Liam started driving the car and soon the car was parked in front of our house. I got off the car and made my way towards my room after entering. "Eva! I'm hungry." I heard Fred as I was climbing up the stairs to my room. "So?" I stopped and turned to looked at him.
"I miss your lasagna." He poured and looked at me with those puppy dog eyes. "Ugh fine. But let me get freshen up first." His face lit up and he happily plopped down on the couch.
I remember when I was in 7th grade I first tried to cook. When I came back from school Liam, Fred and Drake were standing infront of the stove, trying to cook. They all had a frozen hot dog in their hands and were trying to put it in the frying pan that had oil in it and it was hot. I remember how Drake threw the hotdog in the pan and ran out of the kitchen, screeming.
That's when we all tried to make lasagne. I searched the internet for the recipe and we all literally threw up after eating the lasagna that we made.
After about two months I tried making it again all alone and when my brother and his friends tasted it they were surprised. It was indeed very yummy. Fred liked it very much and he requests me to make it whenever he feels the urge to eat it.
Once I was done changing into some comfortable clothes I headed downstairs and saw the boys already spread out on the sofa, watching tv. "Ev is here!" Drake yelled in excitement. "I'm dying here, girl! Get me something to eat!" Fred yelled while clutching onto his stomach.
I rolled my eyes and headed inside the kitchen. After some time I put the tray in the oven and waited patiently. Fred entered the kitchen. "How long?" He groaned.
"Have some patience." I chuckled. He rolled his eyes and mumbled something under his breath before reaching over to the cabinet and grabbing a glass. "Fred?" I said as he poured himself some water from the bottle. "Do you know where is Cody? Why isn't he attending school?" And I seriously cursed at myself for asking Fred this question.
His eyes shot up and he stared at me before his shocked face turned into a teasing smile. "Ohh. Him. I heard that he was busy last night with some girl so he couldn't make it to school today and they planned for a second round." He teased me and I groaned.
"Ugh Fred! You know it's not working. I'm not a jealous!" He barked in laughter. He loved annoying me.
The timer beeped and I put on the gloves to take out the tray from the oven.
It's better to ignore this dipshit. But.. where is Cody?
