CHAPTER 2

UNITED STATE OF AMERICA

NICK'S POV

"Over the last 5 years, the Bryans Group of Companies had raised 7.6 Billion Dollars of our total profit. Ever since the fall of Allundra Group of Companies, our sales increased tremendously" I flipped the paper as I looked at the monitor.

"5.9 Billion Dollars" I said suddenly that made them look at me blankly.

"What do you mean sir?" I sigh loudly enough for them to hear and slowly stood up then *BOGGSH!!!!! * I mashed the papers at the table.

"The overall profit over the last 5 years is 5.9 billion dollars. Can't you do a simple math? Or you intentionally manipulated the data? You added a total of 1.7 billion dollars to the real profit of the company!" I paused a little then sighed again. I raised my left hand and walked out of the room.

"Mr. Bryans" an elderly voice called out to me that made me stop on my track and when I turned I saw a man in suit. He had a big body with a big stomach.

"Yes Mr. Evans" I put my hands inside my pocket as I listened to him talked.

"I must say you have a good leadership, but remember, a cub is not afraid of the tiger. Have a good weekend Child" my brow creased at the words he said but I said nothing and let him walk out of the meeting room.

I made my way to the elevator and pushed the basement floor. As the floor umber goes down from the 48th floor I stared at my reflection on the elevator wall. I unbuttoned my coat and leaned my body as a sigh escaped my lungs.

*TING*

I heard a sound as the elevator opened and I exited, I walk out of elevator and walk a few steps and I spotted my black Limousine with my driver Jack standing beside it. I look at his bearded face and suddenly felt my hand itching. Jack opened the door but I stopped midway from entering.

"Fix your face", I said as I entered the car.

We quietly exited the building and entered the road. The black smoke was emitting outside as we passed by some various vehicles. The enormous buildings were everywhere that covers most of the sky. A few hour later, we passed through unfamiliar road with trees at the side. The tall buildings was nowhere to be seen and the black smoke just vanished out of thin air like it doesn't exist at all.

*SCREECH*

"Ouch, what the hell?" my head felt like I was hit by a bat as it starts to sting a little. When I gaze at the front, a group of men in black was standing and blocking the road, with guns in their hands and cars at their back.

"Get out!" when I look at my left, a gun was pointed at me with a masked man. I slowly put my hands at my head and exited the car cautiously.

"Who are you? What do you want?" I asked in a furrowed brow but before I got an answer, something hard hit my neck that made me lose consciousness.
