"Optimus, did you find energon?" Ratchet asked as Optimus came through the ground bridge with something in his servos.
"No." Optimus said, "But I did uncover this." He then placed what seems to be a fossil skull of a.....oh mother of Primus.
"It cannot be.."Ratchet said as we all became familiar with what was in front of us.
"The ancient remains.....of a predacon." Optimus said.
"You mean that like that one we put on ice?" Raf asked
"Yes, well predacons were known to be extinct since.." Ratchet trailed off a bit,
"Since before most life began on Cybertron." Smokescreen continued.
I still remembered how my Carrier still tells stories about the beast when I was still a youngling.
"So they're like earth's dinosaurs." Raf said
"So for you guys, it's like us running into a T-Rex." Jack said
"So what are Dinobots?" Miko asked
"Totally different." Bulkhead said,
"With Megatron seeing new interest in the excavation of prehistoric skeletons and certain scientist returned in the decepticon ranks." Ratchet said
"It would stand to reason, that Shockwave cloned the beast from such." Optimus said,
"And now Megatron would be looking for more." Ultra Magnus said,
"What makes you think Buckethead would stop at one." Wheeljack said
"We could have beast wars in our hands." Bulkhead said,
"And since Shockwave only possesses to have a single strand of CNA." Ratchet said,
"He already possessed the means to clone another." Optimus said, "Autobots, we must become Beast Hunters."
"One thing still doesn't follow." I said, "Predacons went extinct in the great cataclysm, on Cybertron. So how did its remains ended up here on earth?" I asked
"She does have a good question on that?" Brianna said, "Unless they were sent here through ancient times." She guessed.
"Now that you've mentioned it, Honeybee, I would require your historical text." Ratchet said.
I handed him my data pad, to which me and Bumble switched it after settling in. Turns out that we exchanged data pads during the evacuation of Cybertron. Ratchet grabbed it and showed the kids on the screen of what the predacons looked like.
"Those are definitely not like the ones we've been told." Brianna said
"Yeah, they're metal versions of our Greek mythology." Jack said
"Not dinosaurs." Raf said,
Optimus then explained that Earth and Cybertron were linked in the beginning of time. Few hours later, the kids slept on the couch again. I have to say, Brianna and Jack are kinda close ever since I've arrived on earth. Funny, I guess I'm the only one having a love interest. Right then, Agent Fowler came from his office to say that there were two decepticon activity in a oil bill and one one in the bluffs.
"So don't forget to pack your kilts." Agent Fowler finished
"Understood." Optimus said as he then faced the commander. "Ultra Magnus, you will lead the Wreckers to the bluffs."
"Yes, sir." Magnus replies but then approached the Prime. "Uhh..what's a kilt?" He asked
"Agent Fowler could sometimes be oblique. I find it best to simply nod and accept." Optimus explained.
