Chapter 19

Brianna's POV
I watched Honeybee, Bumblebee and Smokescreen go off out of base as they started their next scouting after what happened earlier.

"Are you just gonna stand and stare after your guardian until she returns or are you gonna come with?" Miko asked as she wrapped an arm around mine.

"Miko." I started, "If you told Honeybee the whole story, I might as well clear things out with Jack and just accept that I don't stand a chance against a popular cheerleader in school." I said before sighing, only to notice Ultra Magnus starring at me for some reason. "Besides, I'm his childhood friend.....That's enough me to see he cares." I smiled at her.

"Well me and Raf are gonna stay out of it for the two of you could work things out." Miko said, "But you sure that you're okay with this?" She asked as we walked up to the human area and Jack was the first to notice us come up.

"(sigh) Yes Miko. I'm okay with this." I said as I looked at her.

(30 minutes earlier)

When we got out of Honeybee's alt mode, the four of us just walked casually towards the cafe.

"So watcha want for breakfast birthday girl?" Miko asked,

"I think I'm just gonna order some waffles with banana and chocolate in it." I said, "What about you three?" I asked,

"I think I'll have some pancakes." Jack said as he opened the door for us.

"I'll just have a blueberry muffin." Raf said,

"I'll go with a chocolate donuts." Miko said,

"In the morning?" I asked,

"Why not? At least I got some energy." She said,

We then each payed for our breakfast before heading over to some empty seats near the window. At least we could see what's happening outside. We all sat down and like the usual, I'm seating next to Jack and Miko and Raf on the other side of the table. Of course I chose to be near the window to see if my guardian is at view.

Thankfully, there aren't so many vehicles around and Honey is in view.

"So what do you have planned for your birthday today?" Miko said as she took a bite of her donut.

"Honestly, I didn't plan on celebrating my birthday anyway." I said honestly, "Plus, I didn't want to attract any more attention or distractions for the bots. Not to mention that my dad and brother had seen them." I took a bite of my waffle.

"Uhh Bri...you got something on your..." Jack said as he pointed out where I had a little chocolate on me.

I rubbed it off to see a little on the tissue used. "Is it gone?" I asked,

"Nope, there's still a little bit." Raf said,

"Here Bri, let me." Jack said as he gently lifted my chin and started rubbing off the small chocolate that was on my face.

I just stared at him, completely entrance at how close we are at the moment. After he is done, I backed away from him a little towards the window and see if anything changed outside the cafe. Mostly just to hide my embarrassment that my own crush did that so sweetly.

Of course, moments like this never last long.

I saw Sierra walking towards the cafe. A popular cheerleader like her could get any guy's attention. I honestly don't know what Jack thinks of her anyway. Sure she's nice to everyone but I prefer to keep my distance from her. Sierra was paying her order and headed towards an empty seat, but it turns out she noticed us. Mostly Jack.
