The Deal

Hyunjins p.o.v (the same night)

After a quick conversation with Jyp on the phone, we decide to meet in his office tomorrow.

*Timeskip to the next day*

I walk into the company's building and greet everyone I see on the way to his office.

„Come on in Hyunjin" Jyp says, when he sees me standing in front of his office door.

I walk in and bow before I sit down.

„So, I'm all yours. What's on your mind Hyunjin? Is it about the punishment ?" he asks me.

„Actually it is. But not what you think" I say.

„Okay, then enlighten me about your problem" he laughs.

Ugh this is why it's always so frustrating to talk with him. He never takes any of mine and the others problems seriously.
Luckily I have a plan.

I start my speech:
„With all do respect, you can't take I.N away from me. Just because you've never been in love and don't have a problem with not dating anyone, but being rich for the rest of your life, doesn't mean that goes for the rest of us.
I mean why else would you not have a girlfriend or wife." I say extra arrogantly.

Let's hope he will say something he'll regret.

He looks at me in complete disbelief and shock.

I'm sure, I'm the first one, who has ever said something like that to him.

„HWANG HYUNJIN ! How dare you speak to me like that.
You know, I've put up with a whole lot of you these past few years, but this is absolutely unexceptional!"

After a quick pause he continues saying : „That's it! You're seeing your Counselor again, until you learn some manners. Apparently your parents couldn't teach you those" he finishes and looks at me in disappointment.

Got him! My plan actually worked.

I don't say anything for about a minute, until he finally looks at me.

I smirk.

„You know, I just recorded our whole conversation. Well not the whole conversation, just what you said" I say cheerfully.

I almost feel bad, when I see him staring at me in regret and confusion.

Listen, you know I didn't mean that, right?"
he asks unsurely.

„What? The part where you yelled at me, or what you said about my parents ? That they didn't raise me well....was that it ?"

„Hyunjin, you can't tell that to anyone, please. You know I respect your parents very much."

„But that's not what it sounded like. And in fact you are actually right.
Not that it matters, but they didn't raise me at all. I don't even have one single good childhood memory of them.
So you saying that, would offend them a lot. Who knows what they'd do to your company's name."

„I'm not doing this anymore. What do you want Hyunjin?"

„There we go. What I want, is your permission to date I.N. As well as your permission for the other members to date, who they want.
And I want I.Ns and my punishment to be over.
In return your voice recording will never leave this room and your company will keep it's reputation" I smile.

He thinks about my words for a while and then answers:
„Fine, but only on one condition. If anyone ever finds out I.N and you are dating, you will leave the group immediately, without telling anyone why or where you're going.
You have to disappear and no one can know about this part of the deal.
Got it ?" he asks.
