Walking into school on Monday is the hardest part of the week. I'm scared to go because I don't want to be disappointed yet again because of Harry's absence.
"Soooooo whose excited for New Years?" Cam says cheerily to our lunch table. "I hear that Bryce Packer is having a party."
"It's December 3rd and your already thinking about New Years? Not even Christmas?!" I ask with a laugh.
"That's gonna be a fun night." Jake adds. "Bryce Parker's parents are fucking loaded."
"He's prob gonna get a keg too." Kyle joins in.
Soon the bell rings and everyone starts heading to their lockers. As I grab my books, I get more and more nervous. I'm hoping he is here and if he isn't, then I must have been wrong about him.
When I walk into class, I scan the room for him. Before I take my usual seat in the back, I take one last look around, and sigh. He isn't here, yet again.
The bell rings and I feel a pinch in my chest. I almost feel like crying because of how much I miss him.
The worst part is, I don't even miss him because I kinda have a crush on him, but because he was sort of my friend. Even in such a short period of knowing him, it sort of just clicked.
"Can I go to the bathroom?" I say with my hand raised in the air.
"Take the pass." My teacher says pointing to plastic board hanging near the door. "And be quick, we are doing a lab today."
I huff getting up from my seat, knowing I'm going to have to work with whoever else in the class has no friends. It's usually ends up being boring and awkward the whole class because neither of us know what to talk about.
I grab the pass and as I open the door, I stutter back noticing a pair of feet blocking the doorway. I look up to be greeted by the familiar emerald green eyes I have dreamed of seeing for so long. Harry.
"Y-you're here." I say shocked.
"I am." He says with a grin. Dimples and all. "So are you going somewhere or...?"
"Uh, no. Not anymore." I reply backing into the room and hanging the pass back on the wall.
"Mr. Smith. Nice of you to join us." The teacher says sarcastically. "See me after school, I have a folder of assignments you have to make up."
"Great, see you then." Harry replies back with a huff when he turns toward the back of the room.
We make our way to our seats and the teacher announces to get with a partner to complete the lab.

The rest of the day goes by in a breeze, due to Harry being with me till the last bell. Despite my curiosity as to where he has been, I don't want to ask and ruin my good day.
"Sooooo, I was wondering if you could help study for the billion quizzes I have to make up today." He asks with a pleasing grin.
"I mean I'll have to see if I can fit you into my schedule." I say putting my backpack on and grabbing my car keys from my jacket pocket.
"Funny. Anyways I was thinking we could work at yours. I lost most of my textbooks and I'm assuming you have all of your at home?"
"Yeah. We can do mine then. Come over at 4." I reply heading toward the parking lot exit outside.
We say our goodbyes and I'm soon on the road home.
Harry
I'm happy that Eve didn't question my absence this past week and I'm thankful that we practically picked up right where we left off. I'm excited to see her later, whether it's just as friends or if she may possibly want to be something more. Something I definitely want, but is highly unlikely to happen knowing my father.
As I pull down my long driveway to my house, I here my phone ring from inside my pocket.
Father: Meet me in my study ASAP.
I roll my eyes grabbing my backpack from the passenger seat and slamming my car door shut. As I enter through the door inside the garage, I'm greet by the barking of the guard dogs just inside the door, along with the chatter of a few of my fathers "men".
"Hey Harry!" My uncle Seth says with his can of soda raised in the air.
"Hey uncle Seth and uncle Jim." I reply with a polite nod and head toward my fathers office.
Taking a deep breathe and straightening my posture, I knock on the door before hearing a muffled 'come in'.
When I enter, I see my father seated behind his big desk, typing something on his lab top.
"You wanted to see me?" I say hoping to get his attention.
"Yes. Now have you set the plan into action?" He questions.
"No. I asked my friend if I could come over and she said yes." I reply biting my tongue.
"Great. While your there, remember to open your eyes and remember why your really friends with her. Not because you actually want to be, but because I told you to." He says sternly. I'm surprised I didn't piss him off, but I'm quite tired of being his little bitch, even though I practically asked for it.
In my defense, I didn't expect to actually like Eve. It just sort of happened.
"Yeah, yeah. Got it. Anything else Father?" I ask sarcastically.
"Get your ass out of my study before you say something you'll regret."
And with that, I'm back in my car, driving around till it's time to go to Eve's house.
Sorry I've been gone so long :(
BUT IM BACK BITCHES
