Trouble (Nick Mayorga x Reader)

Chapter 9

Tal and all the other guys helped Nick and I out so Nick and I were actually able to give up drug dealing and stealing from rich people, which was better not only for me and Nick but for Bailey too.

Nick still acted like Bailey was his daughter but what he didn't know is I think that might actually be his daughter. The longer Nick and I were together the more I began to think that I had met him somewhere before.

I was thinking about it as Nick and Bailey were on the floor playing, it makes more sense why Bailey had none of my ex's features, in fact she had Nick's eyes and his nose too. The more I thought about it the more I was convinced but when could it have happened?. Then I remembered, there was a time when my ex and I had broken up and I was just walking around not sure what to do and extremely drunk and I literally ran into Nick.

My parents had kicked me out of the house for some reason and I had no place to got, Nick had offered to let me stay at his house and one thing lead to another and we... um yeah.

I knew I had to tell him but I was terrified that he would freak out and leave me, then I immediately pushed that thought aside, Nick wouldn't do that.

"hey Nick I need to talk to you...about Bailey" I said

"Okay what is it?" He said and noticed my hesitation

"Baby it's okay, you can tell me anything" He said his beautiful green eyes looking at me with pure love

"So I was just thinking about Bailey's dad and how she looks nothing like him and I remembered a day when I was drunk and... we had met up, we were both drunk" I said and at first he seemed confused then realization dawned on him

He looked at Bailey then back at me "Wait so your saying that Bailey may or may not be mine?" He asked his tone wasn't mad it was happy and surprised

I nodded

"we'd have to get a DNA test just to be sure but Nick look at her, she has your eyes and nose, hell the first time you'd held her she quite crying to me that says it all" I said

"Wow this is amazing!" He said and hugged me

I made an appointment with the doctor so we could do the DNA test and thankfully he was able to squeeze us in today.

On the way to the doctors office Bailey kept giggling at something, which was adorable, I was driving and Nick was in the back with her. I looked in the rearview mirror to see what he was doing and saw him making faces.

We finally got to the doctor's office and checked in, then blood was drawn from both Nick and Bailey.

"This should only take about half an hour" the Nurse said and left

Time skip half an hour

The doctor came back with a piece of paper.

"She is his daughter" He said and handed the paper to Nick

I had the hospital change the father's name on her birth certificate to Nick and then we went home.

When I pulled into the driveway, Anthony's car was in the driveway.

I walked inside to find Alexis and Anthony sitting on the couch making out, yep I knew it.

I cleared my throat and saw them jump then scramble away from each other.

"So we found out some... interesting news" I said

"what is it?" Alexis asked

"So Bailey isn't Jacob's daughter" I said

"Then who is the father?" Anthony asked

I motioned to Nick who was holding Bailey's car seat

"Wait really?!" Alexis asked

"Yeah, I really wish that I had done the DNA test when she was born and I could have avoided the abuse she had to endure" I said

Nick's face went from smiling to pissed, he must have forgotten about that in all the excitement

"I'm going to kill him" Nick said and handed Bailey to me

Before I could move Nick was already in his car and pulling out of the driveway.

I asked Anthony and Alexis to watch Bailey while I went after Nick.

I got to Jacob's house just as Nick was getting out.

"Nick stop he's not worth it" I said getting out and running after him

"Nick! Stop don't!" I yelled as he went up to the door, I tried to pull him back but I wasn't strong enough

He pounded on the door and Jacob answered with a look of confusion on his face.

Nick started yelling at Jacob, I knew that if I didn't stop Nick he would end up punching him

"Nicholas!" I yelled and that seemed to work, it felt weird using his full first name but it was effective

"He's not worth it" I said again and Nick seemed to take that into consideration then he nodded

"If you ever come near Y/N or Bailey again I will kill you and that is a promise" Nick said with a pissed off look that kept Jacob from punching Nick

Thank god, I was able to get him out of there without any bloodshed. We got home and into the house, I could tell Nick was still pissed as I pulled into the driveway.

We got inside and Nick still hadn't calmed down, at least not until he saw Bailey sleeping on the couch and that was when all the anger melted out of him.

He walked over to her and carefully picked her up them sat down, all without waking her up. I saw the sweetest most loving smile on his face, it brought tears to my eyes.

Nick's phone rang and I took Bailey and laid her down in the crib, then went back out just as Nick hung up.

"That was Tal he wanted to know if we wanted to film for a Free Time video and I said I was in but I wasn't sure if you wanted to, so do you want to?" He asked and just as I was about to answer I heard Bailey cry and it wasn't just a I want something cry, it was a I'm ready to get up cry.

I went and got her, and almost ran into Anthony, they must be in the back room cleaning because I smelled the cleaner.

"Hey were you able to get him out before he did anything stupid?" Anthony asked

"Yeah he yelled at Jacob but that was it" I said

"Good" He said

We went out into the living room to find Nick getting the baby bag ready

"Where are you going?" Anthony asked

"Tal asked us to be in a Free Time video" Nick said

"Okay cool so Alexis and I are going to hang out here for a while so if you need anything we'll be here" He said

"ight cool" Nick said and we headed over to Tal's place.
