Zoya was waiting for the results as her mind was absorbed by the tension. Her fear collapsed when she saw one pink line appeared on the testing stick. She sighed with relief and washed her face.
Zoya came out of the washroom holding her stomach. Her pain was becoming intolerable, so she called her doctor. Zoya told about her symptoms and about the last night. The doctor asked her to visit the clinic but Zoya asked for the emergency medicines. Doctor prescribed her the medicines upon insistence assuming that she might have food poisoning.
Zoya took the medicines as she luckily found them in her bag. Since she felt better after taking the medicine, she decided to finish an outfit. So she opened her laptop and was checking her mails when she heard voices coming from the living room downstairs. She heard Waseem's voice and realized that they have come back from the Airport.
"Aaiye Hooda Sahab", Waseem was saying. He welcomed the Hoodas in their house as they all enter Siddiqui Mansion, except for Aditya who was in the garden talking over a phone call.
"Yeh bahut achcha kia aapne jldi aa kr. Thoda waqt hum bhi saath guzaar lenge", Waseem said.
"Yeh hamari madam ki ichcha thi. Inhe apni bahu se milne ki jldi jo thi. Aur phir hume to aana hi tha", Harsh said placing his palm on Anjana's hand.
"Bhaisaab ab to hume Zoya se milwa dijiye. Ab intezaar nhi ho rha", Anjana said.
"Roshnaq Zoya ko le aaiye", Waseem instructed.
"Waseem unki tabiyat theek nhi thi. Woh abhi aaram kr rahi h", Roshnaq told unsure.
Waseem opened his mouth to argue but Anjana interrupted, "Koi baat nahi bhabhi, aap usse rest krne dijiye. Usse jb theek lagega, tb hum mil lenge".
Just then Zoya descended down the stairs wearing red-colored long kurta with plazo. Everyone's eyes caught her attention as they turned to see her. She looked simple yet beautiful as a smile adorned her face.
She went near the couch where every eyes was still stuck on her. Harsh-Anjana smiled as she approached them and Arjun too smiled as he looked in awwww at his bhabhi.
"Zoya bete, yeh h hamare azzez dost Mr. Harshvardhan Hooda aur yeh h inki begum Mrs. Anjana Hooda", Waseem said as he introduced them to Zoya.
"Aur yeh hai hamara guroor, hamari beti, hamari Zoya", Waseem take pride in introducing his daughter.
"Asalaam Waleikum", Zoya wished the couple as they took a step towards her.
Anjana cupped Zoya's cheeks lovingly. "Jitna suna tha usse kai jyada khoobsurat h hamari bahu. Hai na Harsh?", Anjana said.
Harsh nodded & kept a blessing hand on Zoya's head.
"Hamare Adi ke liye chah kr bhi itni pyaari ladki nhi dhundh paate", Harsh said feeling proud of his choice. Zoya smiled a bit & looked down.
Just then a tall man entered the room. Zoya didn't pay attention to who he was and kept her gaze down.
"Paa! Maa!", Aditya called as he entered the living room. He sounded happy about something.
"Kya hua Adi? Kyu chilla rha h?", Anjana said.
Zoya was lost in her own world when Aditya came and stood next to her facing Anjana. It was now that she flinched hearing his name and realized who she was standing next to.
"Maa abhi abhi mail aaya h. I have been promoted as Captain", Aditya shared the news as his eyes reflected his emotions.
Aditya was promoted from First Officers post to that of Captain. Hearing this news Hoodas went on cloud nine as they had waited for this news ever since Aditya joined Aviation. Both Harsh-Anjana hugged Aditya. Arjun too came forward and hugged him.
