I've been staying with the kitsune for about a week now and I can say it's rather pleasant. He enjoys solitude like he's had previously all his deity life but he also enjoys teaching me about his culture and why he is what he is. It's almost like going to school! I never had the chance since obviously my parents wanted me to be a fool so I'd be easier to marry off. His stories were interesting, I remember always sitting down eager to hear when he'd announce he had a story to tell. So far while staying here I've got to learn and do many things. I've got to hunt, run around the forest, and sometimes I even get to go down by the river nearby! It's a happy life at this point, a carefree life. I enjoy this was of living it's suitable for my soul and person. Miraculously I don't miss my old pack at all anymore I'm to happy to care. One day I picked up an unfamiliar scent and when I let the male know he glanced around shiftily and snarled from time to time. He almost acted like a wolf would but isn't he supposedly be a fox? Regardless soon a small group of wolves entered the sacred clearing. The male stood his ground as the intruders came closer to us. I was huddled behind him like a defenseless pup. When they got within a few feet of us one spoke. They where serious and appeared cold. The kitsune retaliated whatever conversation started had been thrown to him and so an angry conversation began. The conversation quickly began an argument as he held out a arm to his side to guard me. I couldn't understand what all the fuss was about though, what entropy was going on? My ears perked at a certain sound, it was growling. The supposed pack members were trying to establish dominance. I wasn't going to stand for this disrespect to my guardian so I came out from behind him and bared my teeth at the opposing pack. They seemed to be taken aback by my actions like it was something that had never happened before. The alpha stepped a bit closer to me saying something but I wasn't lying any attention as I became more aggressive with each step he took. Soon I looked like a mad dog that would need to be put down, the pack stared at me with their cold eyes beconing me to join them but I refused. I growled even as the alpha challenged me with his own. Obviously I didn't win but I wouldn't give up. With the remaining aggression I had unwisely leapt at the alpha who in turn threw me to another of his pack members. They tried to grab my wrists and hold me down like a cop would a criminal so I turned a bit their arm in an aggressive manner. My frantic and unplanned actions worked out in my favor even though they shouldn't have. I bared my teeth once again at the pack that wouldn't leave. They made it know that they had no idea why I had to be so hostile and difficult. To this the kitsune stepped in an added his thought. It angered some of the pack members while other seemed upset and weary of being here. I made sure to make it known I had no intention to join them or leave the deity who was so kind to me. They looked at me disapprovingly while I snarled. Why couldn't they just leave me alone!? I yelled at them again this time for them to leave but they wouldn't do such thing without me by their side.
