Chapter 35

I heard a knock at my door, I turned to look at Katsuki who was fast asleep next to me. Turns out he'd been the one watching over me since the attack.

"Come in. Please try to stay quiet though." I softly reply.

I seen the door open and in walked Izuku with All Might trailing behind him.

"You guys came." I smiled softly at them.

"Mhm! I brung you a peppermint mocha." Izuku hummed.

My eyes light up, "Really?"

Izuku moved over to the bed, setting the mocha down next to me.

"The cashier found out what happened and insisted that he made you one for free." All Might chimed in.

I turned to look over at him, a smile coming into my face.

All Might smiled his famous smile but in his rather fragile state.

"I heard you needed to talk?" He asked.

"Yes, Hopefully you trust me enough to explain the full story..." I nodded my head.

"The leader of the league of villains?..." He looked over at me.

I nodded, "That's what she said. Shigaraki seems a bit too young for my mother anyways."

All Might's eyes met my own, "You still call her mother."

I paused, "I've forgotten her name over the years." Letting out a sigh.

He nodded, looking down at his worn hands, "All For One. The man we recently locked up after saving Young Bakugou... He's the head of the League."

I felt my body tense up, "She's with someone like him?... W-what would anyone find attractive in someone like that?"

All Might sighed before lifting his head back up, "I'm not sure but if this is true then she could be dealing with inside operations for him while he's in prison."

"Didn't he take Ragdolls quirk?..." Izuku muttered before turning to All Might.

"His quirk allows him to take others quirks? It's not like Dad's?" I questioned.

All Might shook his head, "All For One has the ability to take someone else's quirk and use it. He can gift it to someone else as well but... He refuses."

I slightly jumped, "That would explain how Izuku got your quirk!" I chimed in.

All Might looked at me in utter shock before turning to Izuku. I watched as the green haired boy sweat dropped.

"S-She figured it out on her own after All For One's last battle with you..." Izuku mumbled.

All Might let out a sigh, "I should've known it would've been hard to keep from you."

I felt Katsuki move a bit, I looked down at the ash blonde, my expression softening.

I turned to look back at All Might, "I'm sure my mother will come back and until then... I think I need to train."

"Y-you can't train right now! You can hardly lift anything with your injury." Izuku began to panic.

I tilted my head, "I can't always rely on others, Izuku. I have to train so I can be stronger and faster than my mother." I looked over at him.

"Then I'll help you train!" Izuku looked back at me with this overwhelming confidence.

"Huh? You can hardly control One For All at 100%." I puffed my cheeks out.

"Why're you so smart?" Izuku pouted.

"Besides..." I hum, looking at the letter from my dad that sat on the table next to me.

"I think Dad's way ahead of me on training." I smile a bit.

"If you're certain then, I'm going to go help the police on the investigation." All Might began to stand up.

"You're not going out and actually doing anything are you?" I asked him.

He shook his head, "I just want to pass this information on to my friend." All Might tells as he flashed a smile at us.

I smiled in return, "Thank you, by the way..."

All Might seemed rather shocked at my words and his expression softened, "You're welcome, Young (L/N)."

"Um, All Might? I think I'm gonna stay a bit longer." Izuku turned to look at him.

"That's alright. Don't stay out too late!" All Might waved as he walked out the room.

I waved for a moment before pausing and looking at Izuku.

"What is it?" I asked.

"H-huh?" He jumped slightly.

"Why're you still here? I don't have a problem with it but like why?" I asked him.

"I just wanted to apologize... I wasn't able to help you when you needed me the most." He lowered his head.

"I-" I began but he cut me off.

"(Y/N), you're one of my closest friends and you've always been there for me yet when you need me... I'm never there." Izuku clinched his fist.

I was confused as to why he felt this way, it didn't make sense to me at all and I honestly just... don't know what to say.

"Izuku... You know that's not true. We've always been there for each other. Remember the time we fought Muscular? When we went to save Katsuki?" I began to speak.

"Hell! We even beat up the hero killer with each other!" I grinned at him.

Izuku looked at me, tears streaming down his face but he was smiling. He had wiped them away.

"Y-yeah, I remember." He smiled at me.

"You're my best friend Izuku. I care about your friendship a lot. We're future hero's though, we're going to get hurt. It's just part of the job." I let out a sigh.

Izuku quickly reached over and hugged me tight. I was shocked but returned the hug.

"I love you (Y/N)." Izuku tells me.

"Huh?" I paused.

Izuku looked at me, his face flushed red, "I-I-I DIDN'T MEAN IT LIKE THAT!!" He began to panic.

I started to feel Katsuki sit up, I turned to look at him.

"You're telling my girlfriend you love her while I'm asleep, Deku?" Katsuki growled at him.

"I-It was in a friend way!" Izuku started to panic even more.

"It's okay. I love you too Izuku!" I grinned at him.

"Don't tell him that!" Katsuki started to growl at me.

"I love you a lot tho!~" I cooed at Katsuki.

I quickly grabbed the two, hugging them both, "You both mean a lot to me though... so please stay safe."

We all stayed silent, Izuku and Katsuki letting me hold them.
