I stood in the basement my hammer ringing on the anvil, the heat from the furnace was blistering. I'm sure no one could hear me, our high rise apartment was twenty stories up, and the traffic of the city should block out the noise as well. I kept thinking about this weapon, all of its details, and imperfections. How I'll be forced to put it on hold when everyone gets back. Bright ivy green hair tied back, the heat, was not good for my already pale skin. I miss the UK, everyone wasn't as noisy, or so outputting. A hint of my accent remained, and I planned to keep it. Forcing the blade together with the clamps I carefully held it into the furnace, then fully submerged it in the cold water, the steam blurring my goggles. I am Jade, the Mechanic and technology professional.
