Chapter 1

 
   Today was the last day of school, so this morning I decided to look a little cute...was I just doing this for school or was I doing this because I wanted Stanley Uris, my friend for the past few years that I happen to fall for, to notice? who knows but I was just ready to get this day over with.

  Once I got to school I waited by our usual spot, the trash cans outside of school. Richie decide it would was the perfect spot so Henry and his Goons couldn't find us.

       "Hey Em, you look nice" Eddie said you a sly smile.
       "Thanks Ed, you don't look to bad yourself"

right when I went to go give Eddie a hug, Richie came up with a big grin.

     "Hey Eddie, your mom said you're looking for a new dad, and that I fit the role"

I looked over at Eddie who didn't seem to happy with Richie's joke, I personally found it kinda funny.

      "Haha, So funny Richie, I almost forgot to laugh"

The rest of them gang soon showed up and we all walked to our first period to start our wonderful last day.

Time Skip

  Summer had finally begun and me and the boys started dumping anything having to do with school right down the trash.

"Best feeling ever" Stan shared.

"Try ticking your pickle for the first time"

"Richie you're so gross" I glared, trying to hide a smile coming on.

This wasn't uncommon for Richie to say things like this, most times to get him to shut up we have to say "beep beep Richie" it almost always works.
I had noticed when Eddie had asked what we were all doing tomorrow that Bill had started looking down at the ground with an upset language.

"Guys, we have the b-b-barrens" Bill managed to get out.

We all seemed to look at each-other with an awkward glance, knowing what he was talking about. Last year Bill's brother Georgie had gone missing, and Bill still was eager to find him.

"The barrens aren't that bad" Richie spoke "who doesn't love splashing around in shitty water"  Bowers had pulled onto Richie's backpack before he could finish.

"Why don't you leave him alone Henry"

"Aw is your little girlfriend gonna defend you four eyes"

I was getting angry, I was tired of Henry messing with whenever he felt like it. So I did what anyone else would do and pushed him off of Richie. I hadn't know Patrick, one of Henry's goon, was picking on Stan until it was too late.

"Don't touch me or I'll hurt you worst than I do your friends" Henry spat at me after I pushed him.

"Shut up Bowers, go pick on someone your own size"

I was only 5'5 there was no way I could take on Bowers, so I was thankful when he caught his dad, the sheriff, looking at him. As Henry started to turn around Bill began to yell.

"You s-s-s-suck Bowers" we were all scared of what was gonna happen next that we all took a step back.

"You got a free ride this year cause of your brother, rides over Denbrough" As Henry and his dumb Goons walked away.

Stan come over and checked on me to make sure I was okay. I started blushing when he put his around around me. We headed for home. but for some reason I felt eyes burning in the back of my skull, although I didn't turn back to see who it was I had a hunch.

Time Skip

I arrived home to a note on the fridge from my mother

         Emma,
Went away for a month for work, if you need anything go over to the Denbrough's house they offered to help if you need it.
                                                          Mom,

This unfortunately wasn't new to me. She is always away, after my dad left she chose that being away from the house was the only was to stay sane. As for me I guess I like to remain in a place where I know there is people around me that care...like my friends.

Sorry this chapter was so short, I wanted to start with them ending school before we got into the actual story :)
