Ch. 2
I wake up to something scurrying in my room. I sit up and blink, eyes adjusting to the darkness of my room. I grab my glasses from my nightstand and put them on, trying to see better. It's then Jeff decides to stand beside my bed, face about 5 inches away from mine.
It doesn't faze me, and I smile at him. He frowns, well, tries to, and sits in front of me. I make sure the sheets don't reveal to much of me because I don't wear shorts to bed.
"I found only one Jessica, does she have black hair?" he asks me. I smile devilishly and nod, knowing its the same one. I knew she lived somewhere around there.
"I have a favor," I say to him.
"What is it?" he says, voice flat.
"Let me kill her."
He looks at me in surprise, obviously not knowing my past. I would kill all the bullies and would never get caught. I used gloves, hair nets, and an unidentifiable knife. Along with flat shoes, no decorations on the bottom.
It was funny watching the police search for clues, and even funnier when they found none. All my clothes were black, so my mom couldn't see the blood stains. I loved seeing the pleading looks on my victims faces. Their pleas never worked on me.
He sees my look of malice and agrees. He knows what's best for him. If he didn't let me, he'd be dead right now.
I jump up, forgetting I have no shorts on. His eyes linger on my legs as I go to my closet. I blush and hurriedly pull my black jeans on, the smell of blood no longer apparent. My mom would ask why they smelled like blood, and I would always respond the same way; I don't know.
I pull on my black hoodie I wore today at school. No one noticed the small patch that's darker than the rest. Must've thought it was a stain.
I pull on my black gloves and hair net, Jeff watching my every move. "What's wrong? Why are you watching me?"
"No reason," he says, standing and going to the window. I continue getting ready, confused. I grab my knife and an evil grin crosses my face. I smirk even more as I put it into my pocket.
I turn back to Jeff and smile more. I walk over to the window and follow him out, only because he knows where Jessica lives. We run through the darkness and I feel the adrenaline rushing through me.
"How are you going to kill her?" Jeff asks me. I think about it.
"Done that to many times... No, that is too original... Then her screams will wake everyone up... Yup! That's it!" I say, thinking aloud.
"You're as crazy as I am!" he says, then laughs a menacing laugh. I smirk as I start to run faster, soon passing Jeff and feeling the need to see blood. He starts to run as fast as me, and I decide to have fun.
"Hey, wait," I say, skidding to a stop. He stops, and I feel my plan in motion.
"What?" he asks.
"What house does she live in?"
"That white house, why?" he says, pointing at a white house maybe 50 yards from here. I smirk as I look at it. I burst into a full on sprint.
"Race ya!" I say behind my shoulder. He laughs, but runs after me. Did I just unlock a beast? Is he going to kill me? If he tries, he'll have to put up a fight.
I push past my limit to stay ahead of him, winning in the end. I stand I front of the house, panting heavily.
"Wow... You're... Fast!" Jeff says, panting as well. I smile as I slide into the house, undetected. Jeff follows me. He points up the stairs, and we go up them. We make as little noise as possible, and then he points at a room that says "Jessica" on it.
I open the door, making sure it doesn't squeak. I walk in and start.
I place my hand over her mouth as I start to straddle her. Her eyes open with a start, then widen as they see me. She starts mumbling something, but my hand muffles it. I pull out my knife and start to slide it against her skin, going around her face.
Blood makes its way over her forehead, then starts to slide down her neck when I get to her chin. She looks at the knife and closes her eyes, awaiting her fate.
"You will never be able to put anybody down again," I say, as I start to lift the skin from her face. It comes off, and her skull is now visible.
I laugh more as I slash through her stomach, drawing a "X" on it. Her breathing stops altogether and I get off her, wiping my knife off on her sheets.
I turn and see Jeff. He has a look of approval on his face. I smile as I pass him and leave the house. I make my way home, unsure of where Jeff is now.
I could care less.
I get home and put my clothes in the washer to get the blood smell out of it. I get into my nightgown and lay down, tired due to my eventful night.
