Quagmire's POV
The loud tone coming out of my alarm woke me from sleep. I pressed the alarmstop, opened my eyes slightly, and saw that it was already bright outside. „Here we go again." I jawned, sat up and stretched myself to wake from my sleepy mood. The clock was at 9:30 am, so I stood up from my heart-shaped bed, and entered the bathroom to wash my face and comb my messy hair. My stomach was already rumbling, signalising that I really need some breakfast. As I was done in the bath I put on my jeans and my hawaiian shirt, already thinking about what I have for breakfast in my house.
I opened every single closet door in my kitchen, looking for something matching for breakfast. But there was only dinner- and lunch-food in there. And the things inside of the fridge also weren't helpful at the moment. I sighed. "Well. Guess I'll have to breakfast somewhere else." I closed the fridge, but on my shoes and exactly when I wanted to leave the house, my telephone was ringing. "Who might that be?" I ran back to the living room and grabbed for the ringing phone, pushing the green button. "Hello?" - "Mornin' Quagmire! Here's Peter." In the background where many peoples' voices talking with no order. "Oh hey Peter, where are you?" - "I'm at the store. Lois forced me to shop some food, as a punishment." - "Why? What have you done?" - "Me and Brian tried to do fireworks yesterday, don't ask me why.." - "You we're drunk weren't you?" - "Yeah... But I kinda but the firework into the wrong direction. So we've accidentally made some little craters in the street right in between our houses." Peter said. "Oh, that's why it was so loud last night. Giggity." I answered chuckling and looked out of the window out of curiosity. And indeed, the street was cratered. But to my surprise, I was seeing Brian slowly filling the them with tar coming out of a big rubbered tube, and smoothing out the mass with a little spatula. That must be Brian's punishment. I thought. "Well I see it. And why did you call?" I asked my friend. "I'm almost done shopping, in like half an hour I'll be back. I already talked with Joe and Cleveland, we'll breakfast at the Clam. You comin'?" - "Breakfast at the Clam? Well, why not? Sure!" I smiled. "Well great! See you in half an hour then, Quagmire!" Peter answered, and hung up. I placed the telephone back, and looked at the time. It was 9:40 am. I still had some time. So I filled my watering can, and left the house to water the flowers. "Good Morning Quagmire!" Brian surprisingly greeted. I turned around and looked at the Griffins' dog. "Morning Brian." I answered. "You're repairing the street? Why isn't Peter doing it?" - "Well, Lois is afraid that Peter will break something else when trying it." Brian laughed, and I joined. "You want me to help?" I asked. "Thanks Quagmire, but... Lois is watching." Brian whispered, rolling his eyes towards their house. "Okay, I see." I giggled, and turned around to water the flowers.Brian's POV
„Thanks Quagmire, but... Lois is watching." I whispered and rolled my eyes towards our house, seeing Lois standing at the window and making the I'm-watching-you-move. I looked away again and Quagmire giggled. „Okay, I see." he said.
Wow. How could he my enemy before? I thought. Quagmire turned around and started to water his flowers, and I was going on with the street. "Brian!" someone called. I raised my head and saw Stewie staying at the door of our house. "Watch out on that street. I don't want to have to save you with my time machine again." - "Don't worry Stewie, the street is blocked from the garage forward. There's no one driving the street down." - "Alright, If you say so. And, In case you'll search me, I'm in my bedroom. And KNOCK before entering. Knock." Stewie answered and disappeared inside of the house again. As he was gone, I continued repairing the street.Quagmire's POV
I was pretty hungry at the moment, but I stayed patient. I didn't want to ruin my appetite by breakfasting already. I hummed to myself while watering the flowers, and thought about what I was about to eat when we're at the clam. The korean tacos? Ugh. No thanks. Maybe just something simple.. Maybe a.. „Good Morning Glenn!" I turned around and saw Cleveland approaching me. "Morning Cleveland!" I greeted back. "Peter has told you where we will go, right?" he asked me. "Yes he did, he's going to pick us up in a few time." I answered. "Good, Joe is still in his house, but he's ready soon. I just wanted to assure that everyone's ready." - "I am ready Cleveland, I'm just watering the flowers until I'm waiting for Peter." - "Okay Quagmire, I'll search my billfold, until I found it, Peter should be there. And Joe too. See you later!" With this words Cleveland walked back to his house, so I continued with my flowers.
Then, at 9:55 am, five minutes before Peter wanted to be there, my Phone ringed again. I left the water can in the garden and entered the living room, towards the telephone.
