I woke up to the warmth of the sun on my face. I stretched out, only to be pulled back into a warm chest.
Wait what?
I turned around so fast, forgetting about the injury I had sustained. Trying not to scream out I bit down hard on my lip this time moving a lot slower.
I relaxed when I remembered that I was in Fours room and he was the one holding onto me.
Now facing him, it dawned on me that this was the closest I'd ever seen him.
I mean from afar he was handsome, but up close he was just beautiful.
"I can feel you staring." My mouth fell open.
He still had his eyes closed. "I wasn't staring." I tried to wiggle out of his grip.
"ah ah. You're not going anywhere." He nestled into my neck and whispered. "and you totally were staring."
I just giggled as his hair tickled my chin.
I sighed. "Come on Four, we best get up or they will drag us out eventually."
He lifted his head up so his face was line with mine. "Let them try."
I smiled sweetly at him as he pushed a strand of hair behind my ear.
"How you feeling this morning?" He said in the softest voice as he looked down and uncovered my bandaged waist.
"It's okay, a little uncomfortable. But then again I wasn't expected to heal over night."
He gave me a warning glare. "Don't get smart with me darling. I'll get Five to look at it on the plane."
I'd never seen such concern on his face before. "Are you worried about me?"
"You sound shocked sweetheart, am only returning the curtsy." He beamed at me.
I reached out and stroked his cheek as he hovered over me.
"Thank you, you're not so bad when you aren't running your mouth of-"
His soft lips crashed onto mine as his hand cupped my cheek. The butterflies that normally would erupt, now burst over and over again changing themselves into fireworks.
Just as the kiss started to get more heated, Four pressing himself into my body harder basically pinning my frame to the mattress. A loud banging on the door broke us apart.
"GET UP GUYS IT'S TIME TO GO, DON'T YOU TWO MAKE ME COME IN THERE AND DRAG YOU OUT. I DON'T CARE WHAT STATE YOU'RE IN." Three barked through the door all while still banging on the wood.
I groaned head slamming back into the pillow, Four sighed, rolling off of me to go into the bathroom to get himself ready for the day.
I let myself have a moment when the banging had stopped and the other body in the room was now behind the bathroom door.
I touched my lips.
I could still feel the tingle, burning sensation that was left over by the power of the kiss.
I then hauled myself out of the bed, holding my waist I found my jacket from last night throwing it over my arm to find the hotel room key inside one of the pockets.
I walked over to my actual appointed room and freshened myself up getting rid of yesterdays dirty and negativity.
I then got dressed, packing my bag which didn't take me too long as One always told us to pack light.
I made my way down to the lobby, walking through the main entrance and across the busy road.
All the guys where already there waiting by the food stands.
"Glad you could join us Zero." One seemed miffed, looks like I'm in his bad books. Great.
Everyone situated themselves so that they could get the asset on the supply truck with as less fuss as possible.
Four had a hold of the guy and everyone was spaced out following one by one.
But as soon as he was on the truck, all of us standing outside Seven decided that now would be a good time to speak up.
One, Seven, Four and the asset where in the trailer, I was just about to step up with Five, Three and Four behind me.
"This shit isn't sitting right with me man." I stopped looking back at Three with a concerned expression.
I wanted Seven to speak up but was not the time nor place to do so.
"You promised you'd let me always pull the trigger." One was interrupting him with a bunch of yeah's.
God this really wasn't going to end well.
Seven ended up pinning One to the wall of the truck, I gasped at the smack it made.
"You want to know why I don't use names?" One raised his voice. "You want to know why?"
Seven was all up in his face now, both hands were grabbed tightly onto ones jacket. "Why."
"Because no offence Four I'm glad you're alive." He now looked directly at Seven. "But you left us out in the open on that street last night. Totally exposed! If that was me I would have expected you guys to leave me."
I looked at Four who hadn't torn his eyes away from the two men, I then turned to look at Three again to see the same angry expression that Seven held.
"No that's bullshit." Seven was getting angrier at the second, I honestly didn't blame him.
"The mission is more important than the man!" I just watched on, breathing heavy.
"FUCK THE MISSION!" Seven was now at boiling point. "You don't leave a solider behind!" He finally let get of Ones jacket and pointed at Four.
"I've got news for you Seven, you're not a solider anymore. She's not a doctor, she's not a spy and he's not a hit man." One said pointing at the three people beside me.
"And am not a CEO."
"A rich asshole you mean." I sighed this was getting way out of hand.
"What's your name man?" All eyes turned to Four.
"Don't tell him." One interjected.
I could tell from the expression that Four gave one that he was also done with his bullshit.
"Am Blaine, and I just saved your life. What's your name?"
"My names Billy."
"You look like a Billy." Seven complimented.
"You look like a Four." One commented which made everyone stare daggers into him.
"I'm Javier."
"Camille."
"Amelia."
They then all turned to me, I just stared down One who looked at me .
"Don't you dare." He pointed at me he gave me a look like if I spoke, I would dishonour him.
I looked at the floor for a second before turning to look up at Seven. "My names Scout." Not daring to look back at One I kept my eyes elsewhere.
One scoffed bringing the attention back to him. "It's nice to meet everyone, that's great." He said sarcastically.
"Let's go."
We all got in the truck and then piled onto the plane for the next part of the mission. It was deadly silent and the air was thick with tension.
That didn't stop me and Four, or should I say Billy making faces at each other from across the seating section.
