Finding Bucky

We left the Hotel pretty early to make our way to Bucharest, to find Bucky. To say I wasn't nervous would be a lie. But I'm...not...weak...

We had Sam Wilson talking through into our ear coms, mainly for backup. I'd met Sam a few times, he's a nice guy, naive sometimes but...oh well. He is good to Steve.

We made it to the block of apartments Bucky lives in, its a run down building, dark and falling apart, walking into his apartment it looks rough.
Me and Steve look around there's a mattress with disheveled covers and various bits of cheap looking furniture. The kitchen and bedroom are in the same room. No way to live,  even for an ex-hydra assasin.

Steve finds a notebook on top of the fridge. He picks it up and opens it. There are tabs of varying colors sticking out from amongst the pages.

"What is that" I ask quietly.
"Info, probably tryna catch-up...." he replies.

Sam comes through on the radio.
"Heads up, Cap. German Special Forces, approaching from the south."

"Understood" Steve replies.
Both me and Steve sense someone behind us and turn around. Bucky....

"Do you know me?" Steve asks hopefully

Bucky stares at him nervously, eyes flicking towards me quickly. "You're Steve. I read about you in a museum."

Sam comes through the radio again.
"They've set the perimeter"

I begin getting nervous, I haven't had to fight in ages.

" I know you're nervous. And you have plenty of reason to be. But you're lying." Steve tries to reason stepping closer to Bucky. I keep an eye on my surroundings.

 "I wasn't in Vienna. I don't do that anymore." Bucky says getting more anxious and watching Steves steps cautiously.
Same comes through again.
"They're entering the building."

" Well, the people who think you did are coming here now. And they're not planning on taking you alive." Steve says getting desperate.

" That's smart. Good strategy." Bucky replies with guilt.
" They're on the roof. I'm compromised." Sam comes through again.
"Steve" I say with warning.

Steve looks over at me then back at bucky. "This doesn't have end in a fight, Buck."

"It always ends in a fight." Bucky says sadly.
"5 seconds." Sam comes through.
"Steve..." I repeat in a stern manner
"You pulled me from the river. Why?" Steve asks Bucky in desperation.
"I don't know." Bucky says lying.
"3 seconds!" Sam comes through shouting this time.
"Steve!" I yell getting in a fighting stance and watching the doors and windows.
" Yes, you do." Steve replied.
"Breach! Breach! Breach!" Sam yells.
A grenade crashes through the window. Bucky kicks it to Steve, and he smothers it with his shield, covering the explosion.

A soldier speaks another language on the other side of the door. Suddenly the door is battered down.
Bucky uses his mattress to shield himself from a soldier coming through the window.
He blocks the door with a table as cops swing in on cables. Steve pulls the rug from under a policeman, sending him flying. While I jab a punch at another in the stomach and head, then knocking him against a wall, knocking him out cold. Bucky slams another policeman into the wall.

Steve looks at me in shock before seeing Bucky fighting.

"Buck, stop! You're gonna kill someone." Steve demands.

Bucky slams Steve down and punches a hole in the floor.
"I'm not gonna kill anyone." Bucky replies.
Bucky grabs a backpack from under the floorboards and throws it out of the window.

Steve grabs me shielding me behind his back and Bucky gets behind Steves shield with him, blocking us all from gun fire.

Bucky shoves Steve and he knocks a cop over. Bucky holds up his metal hand and repells bullets, then slams a cop into shelves. Bucky picks up a large cement brick and slams it into a cop. Steve fights a cop on the balcony. While I fight more cops in the apartment, occasionally working with Bucky. A cop shoots around the door outside. Bucky punches through the wall beside he door. He lays into the cops. A cop descends through a sky-light on a zip wire. Bucky grabs the cop's gun and slams him into the wall. I bash a couple of cops with the battering ram. More of the police team hurry up the stairwell. Bucky jumps on the zip-line-guy and swings down a level.

Steve jumps down a level as Bucky keeps punching the cops. Bucky tosses one of them over the railing and Steve catches him, stopping the cop from falling. He looks at Bucky wearily.

"Come on, man." I say at Bucky.
Bucky stares at me before we both keep fighting Bucky jumps down a few levels before grabbing a railing with his arm, yelling out.

Bucky jumps out a window landing on a nearby roof grabbing his backpack and running.
Steve continues fighting while I look out the window seeing a silhouette chasing or falling after Bucky.

I take a look at Steve before jumping out after Bucky landing on the roof.

"Argh....still not used to this" i cried out before sprinting after Bucky.

A guy, covered in black slams into bucky. He flexes his fingers making claws come out.

Bucky narrowly avoids being slashed.

Steve comes to join in.

I jump up onto the guy in blacks shoulders avoiding his claws and twisting him up and other, I kick him in the head before turning to Bucky.

"Run! I'll keep him at bay for a minute"

Bucky stares at me.
"Now!" I yell.

He speeds off. The guy in black flips me over and runs after Bucky, Steve joins me and we run after them. Running through traffic.

*car chase*

At the end of the tunnel we get surrounded by cops and soldiers.
And then Rhodey joins them.
"Stand down now" he demands. "Your highness" as the guy in black takes his mask off revealing himself to be T'challa.

I try to resist the cuffs, but get pinned down, cheek pressed against the floor.
Bucky looks at me with guilt and curiosity.

"Well done Cap, you're a criminal now" Rhodey remarks....
