I walked up to the teacher Mr. Banner to sign my slip I glance at the guy and he is staring at me. It was like he was trying to control himself, but I could be wrong. Mr. Banner instructs me to sit near Jasper Hale, the guy raises his hand to show me who he is, I listen. He stiffens as I sit, he actually seems like he is in pain. I couldn't bring myself to be bitchy like I was with Rosalie for some reason. Wait did Mr. Banner say Jasper Hale like Rosalie's brother? I think to myself, I look at him. He looks like Rose, maybe he is her actual brother. He glances at me from the corner of his eye, I jump and look away. It was an unsettling class and I was getting pissed off now, before I could say anything he gets up and the bell rings. I slowly grab my stuff, until I hear Rosalie.
"Selene! Come on." I smile and get up throwing my bag over my shoulder. As we walk to the cafetaria.
"Hey Rose, is Jasper you biological brother?"
"Yeah, he is my twin. How did you know?" She chuckles.
"You two look alike." I say as we walk outside, I see Emmett, and her other siblings.
"Sel this is Edward." She points at a copper- haired boy. He wasn't bad looking. "And this is Alice" Rose pulls me out of my thoughts. I look at a pixie like girl, she smiles widely. "You met Emmett." she looks around. "Where's Jasper?" She questions, I look around and she is right he is not there.
"He didn't feel good so he went home." Alice said almost immediatly. I just look at Rose to see what she will say next.
"Oh ok." I try not to show disappointment, but I don't why I cared. It's not like he was my boyfriend or friend. He didn't even like me, remembering what happened in class pissed me off all over again.
"Can we go in and eat? I'm hungry." I say with sas, Edward smiles like he was holding a laugh. They walk infront of me except Rose and Emmett, they walk by me, talking to me.
As we sit I feel eyes on me I look up and see Bella and Darren looking at me. I smile, they smile at me. "Hey, did I do something to Jasper?" I look at Rose, she seems thrown off by my question. "He seems to hate me, I don't even know him for him to treat me like that." Rose puts her hand on mine, from the corner of my eye I see everyone tense, but relax.
"Selene, he doesn't hate you, today he hasn't been feeling well since we left. It just got worse." Alice says reassuringly. I give her a small smile, "Talking about guys who is that boy over there?" I follow her gaze to find her looking at my brother Darren.
"I don't know he is new too." Edward says.
"Who? Darren?" I ask, both of them look at me, and nod. "That's my brother, Darren." I look at Darren and Bella they seem interested in Alice and... I follow Bella's gaze she was looking at Edward and he was looking at her "The girl next Darren is Bella my bestfriend." Edward looks at me confused. "You are looking at her like she is looking at you. Like you two are interested in each other." he looks down, at least they have someone interested in them. I again don't get to have a guy have a school crush on me. In fact I won't ever have any sort of love life. I think to myself.
"You will have someone who loves you." Edward says like he read my mind, I look at him confused. "You had that look on your face." he says quickly. I repostured myself.
"Thanks Edward but I'm use to being alone." I say right away. Rose's grasps my hand a little tighter
"He's right Sel." She says confidently. Even if they were right the one I wanted for some reason is him.
After school I walk to meet Bella and Darren. "Selene!" I look at who was calling me, it was Rose. "Do you want a ride?" I shook my head.
"Darren and Bella is my ride, I'll see you guys again."
"Ok, I'll see you tomorrow." I nod with a smile. I walk to the truck. They smile at me
"Can I come to your house?" I ask, Bella nods.
"Great I'm coming too." Darren says I smile. As Bella and I get in the truck, Darren was already in the back. We drive off, Bella breathed in.
"Ok, tell me about the Cullens." I chuckle.
"The cullens are great, I don't know much yet." I say, she smiles widely. I look out the window, I can't stop thinking about Jasper. His features were perfect, they pulled me in.
We spent the night at Bella's, luckly Darren and I grabbed some clothes. I get up and get dressed and get ready.

I didn't put any makeup on and put my hair in a messy bun. I grab my bag and go downstairs and eat. Then I sit and read while waiting for the other two. I read about the civil war, because I was learning about it in class and that's the one subject that fasinates me. When we get there we go our own seperate ways, to our friends. I look around for Jasper but a no show, I notice Edward was not here either. I don't question it. Days past and a series of no shows from the boys. Alice and Darren seemed to get along really well. One day I walk in Biology II and hung up my coat on the rack. I turn and notice Jasper is there, I sat next to him. He seems like he is in pain, class starts. I breath in. "What is your problem?" I whisper, it took alot of courage for me to finally ask. He looks at me, those beautiful golden eyes makes me question myself in my head. I didn't back down though.
