When her vision returned she found herself in the middle of a huge crowd.
'Oh god.'
Since it was the first day of PWO the beginner town was flooded with players. The Central Square, which was the spawn location for new players was filled to the brim and new users were constantly logging in. One place in particular was especially crowded. In the middle of the Central Square an NPC named Instructor Tom was surrounded by the players. He had a rough looking appearance and was the NPC to give out the first quests for players to familiarize with the system. He would tell you how to access your Inventory or how to allocate your first skill point and then send you off to your first hunt. Tell you about gathering methods or how to acquire your loot after you kill a mob.
But this crowd was to much for Esya. And in the first place Esya didn't even know, why everyone was standing there. She was a total newbie and she was oblivious to even the most obvious things. It didn't take long for her to come to the decision, that she wants to get away from here. When she started walking, she didn't have a clear goal in mind, so she just ended up strolling through the town.
'This really feels like as if I have entered a different world.'
The light breeze on her face, the faint smell of baked goods at the stalls, the butterflies dancing in the wind, the chirping of the birds and the taste of the fresh air were stimulating all of her 5 senses.
"Hahhh..."
Admiring the middle ages like fantasy town she couldn't help but let out a relaxed sigh.
'I could get used to this', she thought to herself.
Just from this experience alone she felt ever so grateful towards the present she got from her eldest brother.
Before she even realized it she reached the edges of the Town and saw a building that caught her eye. Devoid of any users were the streets and in midst of these streets was standing a tall building resembling a city hall with a sign above the entrance in big fat letters. Production Guild.
Not thinking much about it, she entered the Guild.
[You are the first to enter the Production Guild.]
[You receive the title 'Front Runner'.]
The system notification popped up in her vision.
'Huh? So you get something for being the first at something?'
Pressing on the Front Runner title information about it got displayed.
[Front Runner: A Title received by those, that get a first achievement in the beginner town.]
Bonuses: Receive proficiency experience 2x the amount.
Receive level experience 1.1x the amount.
[This title is permanently equipped. Other titles can be equipped along side it.]
If she didn't play a few kingdom heart games, she wouldn't have been able to do anything with this information, but fortunately she knew, that this title seemed kind of strong.
'2x sounds way to good. And if I think about it, isn't a 1.1 times higher level up speed also really good?'
But if she was even a little bit experienced in MMORPGs she would know, that this title is actually not 'a little bit good', but 'very good'.
Deciding not to think to much about it she then started to look around the insides of the building.
She was greeted by a vast floor adorned with pub like feel and eight counters, with each decorated by a beautiful receptionist. The furniture was made out of wood and unlike the furniture inside the pub section the counters had a glossy shine to it, showing they were somewhat luxurious goods. Atop five of the eight counters signs were put up saying either 'Cook', 'Blacksmith', 'Farmer', 'Peddler' or 'Alchemist'.
