Miraculous Ladybug Summer Vacation

Chapter 2

Marinette POV:

As I sat down next to Felix, he smiled and pulled out a book. After a while, I pulled out my sketchbook and started on a new dress. I only had a pencil, so it was only black and white, but I wanted this one to be pink. I started at the chest, deciding to make it a sleeveless dress. I slowly drew to the bottom of the hem, making the outline plain, but I drew speckles of light grey to go with the pink and small swirls, like morning light. I drew in small attachments that almost seemed like clouds. I was almost done when I saw Felix staring at my sketchbook, or maybe me, maybe both.

"Your drawings are beautiful." He said

"Oh, thanks. I'm not really that good, but I enjoy drawing designs for these things." I said

"Well, you have a lot of talent. I could see that going in a museum." He said

I blushed and looked away. I didn't think it was that good, but he was good at flattering me.

"All right students! We're here!" The teacher said

I got up and helped everyone get their bags. Ivan's bag was still really heavy, but Felix helped me. I saw Adrien out of the corner of my eye. he looked kind of mad. I guess Nino had finally beaten him at chess.

When everyone had their bags, we walked into a beautiful hotel, even nicer than the hotel Chloe's dad owned.

Our teacher cleared her throat and announced who we would be in a room with

"Chloe and Sabrina, Alya and Marinette, Rose and Juleka, Alex and Mylenne, Kim and Max, Adrien and Nino, Nathanael and Mark, Felix and Ivan." She said, handing out our key cards as she listed us off.

Alya and I grinned at each other.

"RACE YOU!" We both yelled

I sprinted to the stairs, and Alya chose the elevator. We were on the ninth floor, but I knew I could beat her. I ran up the first 6 or 7 floors before I felt tired. When I got to every floor, I pressed the elevator button to slow Alya down. When I finally got to floor nine, I took another glance at the room number, then I sprinted down the hall to the right. I heard the elevator ding right as I was closing the door. I changed as fast as I could into a swimsuit, then I jumped into my chosen bed and pretended to wake up when Alya got in.

"What took you so long?" I asked, grinning

"You totally cheated!" She said, laying her bag on her bed

"You're the one who chose the elevator." I said

"Anyways, Nino texted me and told me to come down as fast as possible so we could swim at the beach." Alya said

"Sounds great!"I said

"What one do you think I should wear?" Alya asked, putting her swimsuits out

I thought about her being Tina rouge, and Nino as Caripase, so I chose the Orange one.

"Girl, You read my mind!" Alya said, then she stopped.

"And you're wearing the Chat Noir one I gave to you last Christmas, when you gave me this one!" Alya said

I looked down and realized I was wearing the black swimsuit with green threading on it. I had to admit, this one was my favorite. It had a really cool design, and it was comfy too. It wasn't really your average bikini. It was like short-shorts with swim material, and the top was like a sports bra, but with a tiny dip in the middle.

Alya's was the same form as mine, but in Orange and white.

When we were done, we raced back down, but Alya made me take the elevator. I ditched it on the 8th floor and ran past Alya
