Miraculous Ladybug Summer Vacation

Chapter 6

Adrien POV:

When I transformed, I didn't think much of it, but then I saw Marinette. She was in shorts and a tank top again. Geez, why did she have to look so... sexy?

I had visited her at night sometimes when I had a rough day, or when I wasn't allowed out with my friends. She was so supportive and always made me feel better. I had actually started to visit her more often, but when I was going to visit her, the night before we left on the trip, she was already asleep. I watched her sleep for an hour, maybe more. I wished I could go in, but I guess her window was locked.

I shook my head and approached her.

"Hey Marinette!" I said

She turned around with her blue eyes shining. "Oh, hey Chat!" She said

"What are you doing up here?" I asked

"Oh, Alya put me here so I could video the akuma scene." She said

"Are you gonna get me from all my best angles?" I asked, flexing my muscles. I couldn't help but show off a little. I felt more confident as Chat Noir, and I felt like I could push a few of the limits when my identity was a secret.

Marinette laughed. Her laugh was so happy and light. I wish i could hear it more.

I didn't realize I was staring at her until she spoke up.

"Chat? Are you alright?" She asked She looked a bit worried

I looked at her tank top which read "Princess"

"I'm fine, Purrincess." I said. I smiled at my new nickname for her.

"Purr-what? Oh!" She said, looking down at her shirt's caption. She let out a small giggle, so I took that as the green light

"How have you enjoyed your trip so far?" I asked

"It's been fun! I've gone swimming and I played volleyball and soccer, Alya and I have won both times, with either Alex or Adrien on our team too." She said

"Adrien? As in Adrien Agreste?" I asked, pretending to be shocked.

"Yeah! He's great at soccer. I also went swimming with him! He's actually really fun to be around!" She said, smiling

I paused, watching her smile. I thought about how she didn't know who I was. Maybe I'd tell her one day. I smiled

"Have you ever fallen in love, Purrincess?" I asked

"Well, I don't know. I thought I really liked this boy..." She said

"Go on." I said

"Well, I think he likes someone else. After all, who would ever like me?" She said

"Marinette. You're an amazing girl! You have so many talents that are really cool!" I said

"Like what? Being clumsy?" She said

"No, You are really good at sketching designs of dresses, hats, scarves, and all clothes. You are amazing at actually making the clothes and accessorizing them. You're a talented baker and to top it all of, you are beautiful!" I said

I didn't realize i had said that last part until I looked at her face. She was really shocked, like she couldn't believe that she had so many talents.

"What?" I asked

"I didn't think that there was anything good to me unless you count clumsiness." She said, looking down to the side, blushing.

"Well your clumsiness makes you very cute." I said

She smiled at me, but I saw something on the horizon. The Akuma's ship was coming and fast.

"I need to go, but I'll talk to you later." I said

I dove off the roof and towards the beach. I got there seconds after the ship came to shore.

"LADYBUG AND CHAT NOIR! COME TO MEET YOUR DOOM!" They said

"Well that's a little dark." I said

"Ah, you're here. WHERE'S LADYBUG?!?!?!?!?!?!" Navitar screeched

"Okay, Okay, I'm coming. Don't get your panties up in a wad." Ladybug said, landing next to me

"Hello, M'lady." I said, bowing

"Hello Kitty. Are you ready to get back to vacation?" She asked

"Def—" I said, but we were knocked backwards by Navitar

"ENOUGH TALK!!!" They said

"Enough yelling!" I yelled

I dove out of the way before they could hit me with their sword. The battle went on for a while, but when Ladybug slingshotted the villain to the roof of the hotel, I thought about Marinette.

When I got to the roof, I couldn't find her.

"Marinette!" Where are you?" I called out, but Ladybug stopped me.

"I'm sure she's fine. She might've gone inside." She said

"I can't leave her! I need to find her!" I said

"We can look for her after, but If we are going to find her, we might want some of the wreckage to be cleaned up to make it easier." Ladybug said

I didn't want to, but I nodded.
