"Yeah I'm due in 5 months hopefully" I say rubbing my belly
"Wow congratulations" he said

"Are you and the father together?" Ammika asked all in my business
"Um not that it's any of your business him and I were a one night thing" I say lying right through my pearly whites
"That sucks" she says as if she really cares
"Delivery for Ms. Smith again" the delivery man said
"That's the third one this week girl" Renae said
"I know and I don't know who this stuff is from"
Lately I been receiving gifts or flowers from someone I have no clue who though
"They know where you work who all know where you work?" Renae asked
"Not many people" I say
Thinking of who it could be I don't know
"Maybe the one night stand" ammika said
"Doubt it"
"Well you all enjoy your evening I need to get going" Chris said leaving
"Yeah my shift over ima head home I'll text you tonight Rea."

I walk to my car and I see a text

I go back to Jasmines apartment and go to bed I'm wore out.
Days later
I left work early for a doctors appointment and I got a text and I still ain't change this person contact

"Okay do you want this gender" My doctor asked
"Not this time maybe next time"
"Okay well the baby is healthy but I suggest more water" She says

I leave and I'm tired but I got a call from you know the answer already
"Hello?"
"Hey nessa you busy?" Said the person on the other line
"No."
"Can we meet some place?" He asked
"Chick fil a by the skating rink" I say rubbing my pregnant belly
"What skating rink?" He asked
"The one everybody go to down here meet me there in 10 minutes or just don't show at all." I say hunting up the phone. I'm hungry and aggravated I'm hot and pregnant I can't wait to drop this baby.
"Hey.." he said awkwardly
"Hey" I said about to put in my order
"So I know we ended on bad terms but I don't want to be cool I can't go on knowing your still mad" He said looking me dead in the eyes and I cried
"You're fine and the baby is yours I just didn't want to ruin anything else and I'm not mad just hurt" I say eating my fried and crying
"It's okay baby girl" he said grabbing my hand across the table "I knew, you were nervous as hell in the salon"
"Yeah that happens a lot now"
"I'm here for you and our kid no matter what got it" he said making sure I understand
"Yes" I say eating my chicken sandwich wiping my eyes
"Dang you sure can eat" he said
And I start crying...again
"You calling me fat? It's the baby's fault but I promise after I have the baby all the weight will be gone" I say
"No you not fat calm down I'm sorry " he said
I know he lying I know I'm fat that's why I got this big ass sweater.
"I don't forgive you but I will if you buy me a milkshake" I say batting my eyelashes
"Of course" he said gettin up and going to buy me one
I do a little happy dance in my seat because this baby like to eat and it's only four months but most of it comes back up anyways so whatever don't judge me 🤷🏽♀️🖕🏽
