Chris POV
I was late running to the house today I planned on proposing to Vanessa but I was afraid she'd make it home before me.
When I got to the house she wasn't there so there was time to set out the rose petals.
"Chris" she yelled
"Hey" I walk up and kiss her
"Hey um what's all this" she smiled
"This is for you babe" I kiss her neck
"Oh okay" she grabs my shoulders pulling me away.
"Go upstairs and get in the bath I got it ready for you."
"Okay" she smiled again walking up the stairs
She was in there about 5 minutes and I went up to pour the champagne.
"This is nice baby thank you" she blew bubbled at me that's childish.
"You're welcome you deserve this best mother best step mother good girlfriend all of it."I stare at her in admiration
"Thank you" she blushed.
"Here up I got something else" I walk out and wait for the people to bring our food.
The door bell rung which means our food was here I ordered crab and steak.
Waiting for her to come downstairs is all now.
"You picked this out" she walked down in the dress I laid on the bed.
"Yeah you like it"
"yes it's beautiful" she walked over to the table and I pulled out her chair.
"I want you to know I really appreciate you" I kiss her hand
"I appreciate you too papa" she said before breaking off a crab leg.
It was silent and I can tell she was enjoying it because crab legs are her favorite.
"I'm stuffed"she rubbed her stomach
"Good" I go to her side on one knee now it's time "we haven't been together that long but I know your the one for me I love you so much"
"I love you too" she cried
"Vanessa Smith will you marry me and be Vanessa Brown" I pull out the ring.
"Oh my gosh yes" she stood up hugging and kissing me.
"Finally!" Ro ran in the house
"I tried to get her to wait she wouldn't" my mom said holding Aeko's hand and Royce'e car seat.
"It's okay" Vanessa best down and hugged Ro.
"I told you it would happen Nessa"
"I know babydoll" she smiled before standing back up
"Welcome to the family" my mom hugged her.
