Mizore

"You see, these flowers, they're called snow whites. Kind of like my last name. It's cute right? Hey I got an idea, when we turn seventeen, let's come back and gather these again, 'ka-" "Stop it, Mizore. You want something that isn't possible... because you're a monster... Who devours humans like me, aren't you!" I woke up on my couch and realized what I dreamed about... My childhood. I walked after nearly tripping over my bags from the shopping trip two days ago and I saw an envelope from my mother. It was about an event in my village, known as the Flower offering, or the coming of age ceremony. I walked out and I saw Dante walked with Gideon. Dante was smoking while I didn't even notice his arms not being in his sleeves and Gideon, who was in a tank top with his slacks and his black leather jacket on his shoulder, was walking and drinking water before he poured some in his hair. I approached them and they both seemed irritated. "It's been like this for the past two days now... Why is it so damn hot? I thought this place didn't have seasons." Dante said this and when he turned around and saw me, he smiled. "You can't sneak up on us in this heat, Mizore-san. You being cold, your Yokai gives you away, almost instantly. Not that I have too many objections." Gideon saying that made me and Dante laugh and I decided to stop crouching and walk with them normally. "They were doing maintenance on the barrier and they made the entire inside hotter." I heard Moka say that and we all turned around to see Tsukune, Moka, Yukari, Ruby, and Kurumu. If I had a chance for anything, I know inviting the others to my town for the festival wouldn't be a bad idea... Not to mention I could also get closer to Tsukune and the others. "Since you're all here, would you like to come to my hometown for a ceremony and celebration that my people hold this time of year. It'll be a nice excuse for us to spend time together and to get you all out of this heat. Plus, the letter I have did say I'm allowed to bring friends." My offer made everyone smile and Kokoa had just walked up to us. "Yeah, we'd be more than happy to." Tsukune answering for everyone got us to run to the tunnel. The bus came and we all got on. Kurumu and Kokoa were ecstatic about it.

"Hey is there a karaoke? I wanna sin-" "No, no singing... " Dante saying that made everyone worry a bit, even me. "Sorry. I have a headache. After spending yesterday listening to Saizo and another go back and fourth about something stupid, you tend to wake up pissy." Dante's apology made Kurumu nod and and Gideon looked at him. "You need painkillers? I've got half a bottle of 'profen left?" Gideon's offer got Dante to take two and he nodded to his brother. "New jacket, Gideon-kun?" Tsukune's observation reminded me of the shopping date two days ago. "Yeah, I bought it. I thought it looked nice on me." It didn't take long for the bus to stop and we at a point in the snow. Thankfully I knew this place by heart. We had gotten off and everyone but Gideon was complaining about the cold. "Mizore, what the hell? Is this supposed to be a town or blizzard?!" Kurumu's posed question made me chuckle before looking at everyone else. "My village will be close to here soon. Just follow me and stay close to me and each other, so I don't lose any of you." As soon as I said that we started to move through the windy snow.

Dante

"You're not cold, Gideon?" Kurumu saying that made me turn towards my brother who wasn't phased by the snow one bit. "I control ice myself. This doesn't do anything to me. I control heat as well, which is why I'm not shivering. Hey, Mizore-chan, just how far are we from the village, anyway?" Gideon's question got Mizore to give us a sign to come closer and as we did, we got to see a beautiful viewpoint of her hometown. "So this is the land of the Yuki-Onna. It looks beautiful just from a distance alone." Me saying that made Mizore smile and we started to move closer to the village. I was walking with both witches. "Dante-kun, are you alright?" "Yeah, of course, Yukari-chan." I said that and we ended up in town. The wind died down and it was actually a nice enough temperature for me to remove my coat and neckgater. We met with Mizore's mother again and it was nice to see a familiar face. "It's so nice to see you again, Tsurara-sama." "Likewise, Tsukune and welcome, all of you. I need to let you all know a few things. Most of the buildings here are made of ice and with the barrier protect this land, the sky will always be an aurora. Its a beautiful place for us, but are birthrates are in a dangerous decline. So Tsukune you and Mizore-chan will have to start making children for us, very soon." Tsurara saying that shocked Tsukune as he was being dragged away by her, but Mizore managed to stop her mother. "Worrying about things like that are useless, mother." Mizore said that and Moka laughed to herself a bit. "She's a scary mother, as always." "Like mother, like daughter..." Kurumu and Moka saying that made me laugh a bit. "Wait, you came back for the flower offering, didn't you?" Tsurara saying that was met with a nod from her daughter, and Moka looked confused. "Flower offering? What's that?" At that point I saw that Gideon looked irritated and I shared that.
