Blood: Back in Chapter Nine （Summertime and Sirens | 夏とサイレン）Gideon ran as an errand boy, using Gouyo Shiro's blood money to buy out and pay off various grocery stores. Here's a bit of a telling of everything that transpired, from Gideon's eyes.
Gideon | Seaside Inn
Tuesday | 14:30 (Flashback)
"Baby, can we talk?" Hearing Kurumu's sweet voice as we tried to work out Moka's plan made me warm inside.
"Of course, what's up?" I replied, matching her softness.
"About that money we got off of Shiro... Could we use it as funds for the hotel's event?" My jaw dropped to what Kurumu asked me, I was beyond shocked.
"Kurumu, I don't wanna know where Shiro got this money from, but if we spend it, we're all going to prison." Me saying that only got her to look at me with a bit of a grin.
"No, if Shiro spends it, he'd be going to prison. Plus, it's for Marin and San-senpai, the money was almost meant for a time like this. It wasn't an accident that the safe caught my eye as you held him at gunpoint. It's meant to be... Plus you said this was blood money, right? Meaning, it was acquired illegally. We might as well use it to help others, despite how bad the means of obtaining it for him were, all we did was take it." Kurumu saying that made me look back at the bag full of yen and I knew my answer.
"Fine, but only because you make a good argument. Plus, it's for San and Marin." It was a reluctant agreement, but for her and to help San and Marin, how could I say no?
"Thank you, baby. Really." Kurumu hugged me before I walked out and got on the phone with Vincent.
Vinny: Gideon, my nephew, How've you been?
Gideon: I've been good, Uncle V.
Vinny: That's good, real good. Y'know, as much as I'd love to chat with you, I get a feeling you called for a hand, so what's up?
Gideon: I need my bike. The one you and dad fixed up for my birthday.
Vinny: You mean the 650, wait, aren't you in Japan?
Gideon: It's still in the UK!? I could've swore I asked him to ship it out for me the before I left after my party... Fuck this is bad!
Vinny: I'm just fuckin' with ya. I can call one of my guys to your house and have him get it. I'll text you their number to make things a bit easier the next time around.
Gideon: You're the best! Thanks, Vinny!
Vinny: You're not on a severe time limit, are you?
Gideon: Ehhh, twenty minutes to get situated, ten to get ready to do what's needed. It's been a bit, though.
Vinny: Good, your bike'll be there in ten, and you'll have ten to spare.
Gideon: I can't thank you enough, Vincent, really.
Vinny: You're my blood, that's how it goes. Talk to ya soon. Be safe.
Gideon: You do the same.
