A lyrics that suited his life was playing in background. A slow motion scene where actually the girl enters and makes the boy's heart race was now exactly the opposite cause in the dark came he entering as if very important man of the storyline.

Yes!! Wasn't he?  Actually speaking their's was never a lovey dovey story!! Neither was she ever damsel in dismay nor was he her knight in shining armour , yet that was what he always wanted.

No cheesy lines, sweetheart,jaanu, Shona blah blah.... Just perfect until she started to fall for him.
Wasn't that what he wanted to hear or was waiting like hell for the usual any three words of a film which the female says to male?
But now he regrets it the most . Had he left her on her own and stood away then somewhere after dwm she would have been in peace but with him she always sacrificed.

He loved her but his love at the end was nothing apart from greed of keeping her beside as of now.

He thought looking at her , he was the one who will have to teach her what true love is but here the case was different. He was teaching but in that process forgot that she was a fast learner and would overlap his theories of love someday.

Lack of strength, overflowing guilt, self resentment and the house of self loathing was now what he use to do with himself. Yes, for the world it's still the story other way round where she was the villian but deep down he knows that she was the knight who saved him. But!! Sadly,  that would sound so shameful on him and most importantly why would he want to let her know that he was aware of the great sacrifice which she was ready to die with rather than letting him know.

He often questions at times to himself about his behaviour about the same situation had the roles reversed. He knew one thing for sure that she too would have believed him to be alive along with dd. Not only her but she would have forced the entire family to believe her.

Also that she would have first slapped him hard and with equal softness asked the reason. Even if he would have been a jerk to not let go off the reason , she won't have been that adamant on knowing it but somewhere she would have concluded that she was responsible and started with the self torment but for him she would have been strong and full of energy.

Flashback

It was when both Avni and Neil had returned to khanna mansion with karan accompanying them. They had a huge show down where both of them had to explain their parts and also to accept their drama with punishment.

Though they were upset but somewhere they knew they were pretending hence got ok but Prakash was still not ok with avni. He wanted to hug her, speak with her for hours but still the other part was still a bit hurt so that obstructed him to forgive her.

Both had the therapies and appointments synced in and with the schedule. Neil was desperately looking for the reason of Avni's sudden change and so he and DD were looking for anything that Ak had left loose.

The Avni that he knew was terrified by dark, blocked rooms, being alone and now she always stayed in the closed room, spoke less, no shine on face even with bebe and mostly alone.

So they visited vidhyut who was still that much sane to let him know that whatever he was finding would break him to peices and nor will he let him know that.

This converted his doubt further into belief but still he needed confirmation as the past reports clearly states that he was not the one who killed neela.

He again visited the hospital in which Neela was taken, checked the entire reports and everything. Yet again a dead end and for the last try he sort help from team 123 who readily found a few loose ends.
