Chapter 2-The Lyons

I made my way inside my home kicking my shoes off and heading to the bathroom to turn the shower on hot. As I was slipping out of my clothes I begin to hear a knocking at the front door. I sighed and wrapped a towel around me to walk thru the house. As I was nearing the front the knocking began again "I'm coming, I'm coming" , I scream out as I got closer to the door. I looked thru the peep hole to see no one there I backed up from the door making my way to my room for my phone. As I grabbed for my phone I noticed my room window was slightly ajar. I took off towards the closet and hid the best I could behind things and called K the first time I got no answer. So I called again and he answered "K I need you home now ASAP someone's in the house" the line was quite until he broke it "I need you to hide the best you can I'm On my way, there's a gun in the floor bored in the closet whoever you see first shoot" then the line went blank.

Here I am hiding in my own home thinking today would be a good day now look. I finally found the gun and sat back, I heard foot steps coming up the stairs. As I tried to sat back as far as I could in the closet with nothing on but a towel with a gun ready to fire hoping that whoever it was they would keep going. I heard more foot steps and sent K a text informing him that it's more than just 1. As I was looking thru the peep hole in the door I could see that they were dressed up in all black, suited up going thru the drawers roaming around looking and moving things. I closed my eyes tight clutching the .09 hoping they wouldn't get any closer to the closet. As I was peeping through the peep hole I noticed a tattoo that I remembered from somewhere, I heard tires screeching from afar and horns being blown as it caught their attention. They tried to make an attempt to run out the room until I opened the closet and let out a shot hitting the first one. The other guy tried coming from the other end until I let out another shot this time missing him as he tried to make it thru the door way. By this time I seen K on the surveillance camera coming thru the back door. I fired another shot through the wall and heard a scream. I heard footsteps running and shots being fired at this time as I hid back in the closet with the gun pointed. Once I heard more shots I knew K was here with the boys, "Baby, baby" I heard K scream out as his voice grew louder, "In the closet" I responded back.

Kasen opened the door I got up and hugged and kissed him "Are you hurt" he asked checking me "no I'm good I fired some shots", "I see you got some good shots". After the last shot I heard some footsteps growing closer from the steps and noticed Dre, Ezra, Scotty, Kyng, Alaya, and Asia entering. "Kyng call up the work crew we gotta get this cleaned up" Kasen spoke. Kyng got out his phone while leaving the room with everyone that wasn't the same gender as me except Alaya and Asia. "Hey Girl you good" Asia asked me as we did a group hug. "Girl this shit got my nerves tore up I think it's time for a move" I said putting on my clothes. I started to tear up as Asia and Alaya came to my side "It's gone be ok we're here for you girl" Alaya said as I wiped my tears and finished getting dressed. As I headed out my room I noticed a body I went on downstairs towards the room and seen 2 more in the living room and the last one in the kitchen. I seen resemblance of the tattoos on the men neck  "Kasen they all have the same exact tattoos" I blurted out. Kasen came to the man dead body in the kitchen and looked at the man neck tattoo "The Lyons" was all he said.
