Hyorin woke up to music playing at her door. She went to open it and saw Myungsoo playing his guitar. He turned and started singing the happy birthday song. "You're such a dunce" she shook her head as she closed the door. "Happy birthday" he called. She laughed as she went to take a shower. She came down for breakfast. "Where's umma and appa?" she asked one if the maids.

"They went out" she answered. Typical she thought as she folded her arms. Myungsoo grabbed a seat across from her. "What are your plans?" he asked.

"Why? So you can crash it. No thank you."

"Can't I be curious? You're practically a sister to me."

"And you're just a visitor to me. Can we stop this conversation."

"Why are you so bitter? Now I know why people call you a witch."

"If speaking my mind makes me a witch. Then I'm fine by that. I just lost my appetite" she said as she excused herself from the table and walked out.

Hyorin went to pick up Krystal as they were going to meet the other girls at the mall. "Happy Birthday" they all said to her.

"Thanks" she smiled.

"Okay. Which store should we hit first" Soohyun said excitedly.

"Like you even have to ask" Hyuna said as they started walking. They stood in front of their favorite store which was also very expensive. They walked in as they went searching for clothes. It didn't take long till they were in the dressing rooms trying them on. They all stepped out as they evaluated each other. When it was time to check out Hyorin saw Krystal putting the clothes back. "If you're not going to buy them. Can I have it?" Hyorin said.

"Sure" Krystal said as she gave it to Hyorin. After they paid they went out for lunch. "Why didn't you invite Myungsoo?" Hyuna asked Hyorin.

"Why would I invite him?"

"He's a friend."

"Not my friend" she said as she picked up her menu. They ordered their food and waited. "Krystal. Why didn't you buy anything?" Soohyun asked.

"I didn't really like them" she answered.

"But they looked cute on you" Hyuna said.

Just then their food came back as they ate. When they were done they each took their credit cards out and put it in an empty bag. It's something they always did. Whoever's card gets picked they have to pay for lunch. "Krystal's paying today" Hyuna said as she held the card out. The rest took their card back. Krystal was nervous as Hyorin observed it. Hyorin knew that Krystal's family was struggling with money. What she didn't know was why or how? But she didn't want to put her friend in an awkward situation. "It's my birthday. Lunch is on me" Hyorin said as she handed the waiter her card.

As they were heading home. The car stopped in front of Krystal's house. "Here" Hyorin said as she handed her a bag. She opened it and saw all the clothes she picked out. "They looked cute on you."

"You're the best" she said as she hugged her.

"I know. Now go." Krystal got out as she went in.

When Hyorin got home she went to her room and flopped on her bed. There was a knock on the door as she went to answer it. "What do you want?" she asked.

"I thought about it long and hard about why you must hate me. Then it hit me, you don't really hate. You secretly have a crush on me."

"Conceded much. You want to know why I hate you. It's because you came here and stole everything. My room, and my parents. So do me and favor and just leave me alone" she groaned as she closed the door in his face. He stood there in thought. He walked to his room as he took out his thought. 'Happy Birthday' he texted her.

'Thanks.'

'What did you do?'

'Hanged out with friends. It was fun although I did confirm something today with one of my friends.'

'What's that?'

'I can't tell you. No matter what people might say. I can't tell a friends secret.'

He smiled at the text. "Guess you do have a heart" he laughed.
