It was after school, Hyorin had asked Mia to meet her in the girls bathroom. She was waiting patiently for 10 minutes. As she was about to leave Mia walked in. "What took you so long?" Hyorin asked.
"Do I have to work with your schedule? If you must know, I was talking to your brother. He's easy on the eyes, unlike someone I know" she said as she went to look at herself in the mirror. Hyorin looked at her reflection with a smile. "What are you smiling about?"
"I just remembered why we're not friends anymore."
Mia turned to her and clicked her tongue. "See. The way I remember it. I cut you off."
"Yet Seohyun, Hyuna, and Krystal are friends with me, not you" she said.
"Did you want to talk about something. Is that it" Mia said annoyed at this point. But Hyorin was having fun with it. "If you have something to say, I'd like it if you say it to my face. Don't get someone to fight your battles. Especially Myungsoo" she said as she started walking to the door, bumping shoulders into Mia. "I guess he does bother you" Mia said. Hyorin slammed the door as she walked out the building. "Hyorin" Howon called as he ran up to her.
"Your sister left already" she said.
"I'm not here for Krystal. I'm here for you" he said with a boyish smile. She smiled along with him. She looked at her car before looking back Howon. "Let's go" she said to him as they started walking.
They stood in front of a bus stop as they waited for the bus to come. "What are we waiting for?" she asked.
"The bus?"
"As in. Public transportation?"
"Yeah" he said. She went in her bag as she was searching for her cellphone. "I can call my driver" she said as she held it up. He took it from her and said "I'll hold this."
Myungsoo was still waiting for Hyorin in the car. He kept looking at his watch as he was growing impatient. "Can I borrow your phone" he asked the driver. He handed it to him as he dialed in her number. It rang three times before a male voice answered. "Who is this?" Myungsoo asked.
"Howon. If you're looking for Hyorin, she's with me. I stole her for the afternoon" he said.
"She's with you?"
"Yeah. The bus is here" he said as he hanged up.
"Who was it?" she asked Howon as he hanged up. "Myungsoo. He was looking for you. Let's go" he said. She looked at him and at the people boarding the bus. She was very hesitant because it was her first time. "Come on. Trust me" he said as he stretched out his hand. She looked at it as she bit her lower lip before taking his hand. They boarded the bus as they squeezed themselves in the middle. "Hold on" he said her.
"I'd rather not" she said with disgust. This was all too new to her. Normally she wouldn't have gone on, not for anything. But when he flashes that smile she just can't resist. As the bus pulled away from the station she stumbled back. "Told you to hold on" he said.
"I'm not holding that."
"Then hold on to me if you want" he said as he was looking out the window. She stared at him as she thought about it, but declined the offer.
When they got off the bus she sighed with relief. "Finally" she called. She ran her fingers through her hair fixing it as she looked around. "Where are we?" she asked bewildered.
"It's a surprise" he said as he started walking. She walked along side with him as he was looking around. "Are you looking for something?" she asked.
"I'm sure it use to be around here" he said. She looked around at this strange place. "There it is" he said. They were walking to a small restaurant. As they walked in she was hit in the face the smell of smoke and glass, they went to take a seat. "What are we doing here?" she asked.
"Lunch. I know it's not what you're used to but you'll love it" he said. She continued looking around as she found some eyes looking back at her. "Can we eat someplace else?" she asked when she found his eyes.
"Are you uncomfortable?"
"Something like that. I've never eaten in a place like this before" she said as she kept looking at me. Howon reached for her hand as she darted her head to look at him. He smiled at her and said "It may not be what you're used to, but I promsie you the food is amazing."
She smiled at him and said "I'm trusting you." Howon called for the waiter as he order for the both of them and a couple of drinks. He got their order as he walked away. They were conversing and laughing as they were waiting for their food to arrive. "Hoya" they heard a man call. Howon looked as he got up. "Dongwoo hyung" he said as he got up and hugged his friend. Hyorin looked back as she saw them both. "Who's this?" Dongwoo asked.
"Hyung this is Hyorin. Hyorin this is my old friend Jung Dongwoo" he said as he took a seat "He's mom owns this place."
"It's...cozy" she said trying to sound convincing but failed. "She's not used to being in a place like this" Hoya said.
"I figure. She looks like she's worth 100,000 won" he said.
Just then the waiter came as she placed their food on the table. "I'll leave you guys to eat" Dongwoo said "Talk to you to later." He walked away as Hoya took his seat. Hyorin looked at him and said "Hoya?"
"Yeah. It's a nickname I had in when I was younger."
"I like it. Hoya" she said, he bega placing the meat on the grill as it started cooking. She looked at it with curiosity and asked "What kind of meat it that?"
"Beef" he answered. She watched the meat as it was cooking.

Hoya wrapped up a piece for meat for her. "Here" he said as he held it in front of her face. "I'm good" she said as she pushed his hands away.
"Try it. I promise you its great" he said as he pushed it back in her face. She looked at him worriedly before she opened her mouth, he fed it to her as sh was chewing slowly. "What do you think?" he asked as he prepared one for himself. "Not bad" she said. He smiled and said "Told you" as he ate some himself.
................................
After lunch they went outside to go back home. "Aren't we going?" he asked.
"We took the bus here, so now we're taking my car," she said as she opened the door. "When'd you call?" he asked.
"When you were talking to your friend. So let's go in" she said as she climbed in. Hoya climbed in to when they saw Myungsoo. "What are you doing here?" she asked.
"You were gone the whole afternoon. And what's that smell?" he asked as he was smelling her. She pushed him away and said "What are you? A dog?" she said. She instructed the driver to drive to Krystal's house. As the car started to move Myungsoo asked "Why are we going there?"
"Because that's where I live. Krystal's my sister" Hoya said.
When they got to the house they walked inside. "I'm surprise you even went to a place like that? And how'd you get there?" he asked.
"If you must know I took the bus, and I went there because I was hungry. Now if you'll excuse me. I'm going and take a shower. I smell like meat" she said as she went upstairs.
........................
"I'm home" Hoya called. Krystal ran to him with a lot of questions. "Nice to see you too" he said as he ruffled her hair. "How'd it go? Where did you guys go to eat?" she asked
"You remember my friend Dongwoo hyung? We went to eat at his mom's restaurant."
"You bought her bbq. Hyorin doesn't eat that. How could you do that to me."
"Relax. It's went well, she even like it. Although she didn't like the bus ride."
"You made her ride the bus. That's it, I'm not going to school tomorrow."
"Stop overreacting."
