"Mmmm. Huh?" I mumbled after noticing that my alarm clock was not screaming in my ear. "Ohh great! Did I forget to set my alarm clock again!?"

I jumped out of the bed and was about to run to the closet before I noticed that my room looked different.

"Uhh, did my mom somehow paint my entire room purple while I was asleep?" I took a moment to look around the room before suddenly realizing it.

'This is not my room!!' I panicked trying to remember how it was I got here and what had happened. "Okay, so I woke up. Got dressed. Ate breakfast? Went to school? Aww my gosh, I don't remember!!" I kept panicking until I heard footsteps outside my door. 'Someone's coming!!'

I quickly looked around for a hiding spot before my eyes landed on a closet. 'There!' I ran into the closet and closed the door before covering myself with a pile of clothes. 'Oh my gosh, I'm going to die!!' I heard the sound of a doorknob turning before hearing footsteps walk into the room.

I stayed as quiet as possible as to not let whoever the person in the room know where I was hiding.

"Huh? Oh crap, where is she!?" The tone of the voice sounded more like a worried boy than a grown man.

"Don't tell me she somehow snuck out of the room without me noticing! Oh man, Irene's going to kill me!" I listened to the sound of him running out of the room before letting out a sigh of relief.

I stayed in the closet for a few moments before shuffling the pile of clothes off me and creaking open the closet door. I took a glance around the room and stepped out of the closet to bump into a chair. "Ow! Wait, is that my stuff?" I picked up my backpack and bag and then suddenly got a flashback.

I remembered that I had walked out of my house and saw a portal in our pathway before being sucked into it and blacking out on the ground.

"Ohh, that's what happened. Wait! Does that mean that the boy that just walked in here a few seconds ago wasn't a bad guy!?" I was too busy debating with myself to notice the sound of footsteps coming back to the room.

"I swear, I didn't see her leave the room!" A male voice exclaimed.

"Of course you lost her! You lose everything!" A female voice lashed back.

"Crap." I turned around to see a copper-haired girl arguing with a tall white-haired boy. Once the girl turned and saw me, she had a face of slight shock. The boy took a second before also turning and having a face of confusion replace his once angry one.

I stood there awkwardly before the girl suddenly spoke up.

"I thought you said she wasn't in the room?" She said looking at the boy.

"S-she wasn't!" He said, still clearly confused.

"Umm, I was in the room. I was just...hiding." I said sheepishly.

"Oh, I knew she was going to do that." She said.

"What!? If you knew, why didn't you tell me!" The boy exclaimed at the girl.
