Rin's Birthday

A/N: Before I let you guys read, I was supposed to do this fanfic on Rin's birthday, but completely got swapped with work and other things, so now here I am, and here's the summary:
It's Rin's birthday, and of course Luvia is planning something. They've been secretly dating for a few months so she thought of the perfect gift for her.

~Feb. 2nd, 20XX~

Yawn! The curtains are closed, but the certain mage can still feel the sun's rays as she wakes up, ready to start the day. She stretches her limbs, hearing small pops in her bones. She takes a look at her clock oh her nightstand, reading, 7:00 am, then looks at her calendar. Her eyes widen a bit realizing what day it was, and is off her bed and rushing to the shower.

After a nice hot shower, she tosses on a casual but still nice looking outfit. She then grabs all of her belongings and heads out the door, but before she can, the doorbell rings. "Coming," she calls out. When she opens the door, she's greeted by Luvia. A smile appears and she lets her in.

"Hello, Rin," Luvia greets, then gives her cheek a peck.

THe two of them have been dating in secret, Rin is not quite ready to announce them together especially when it could cause family problems. It's been about two months since they've been together, so when Rin is comfortable enough, and Luvia is ok not rushing, she'll let it out. But for now, she's ok with their private meetings.

"Hi," Rin greeted back. She was about to hug her, but Luvia stopped her and told her to wait.

"Wait, before you hug me..." Luvia is rummaging through her purse and then pulls out a small gift. Then she took Rin's hand and placed the gift in them. "Happy birthday, Rin." Rin looked up at her and smiled again, before proceeding to open the gift. Inside was a small ring that had her name engraved on the inside, and on the outside small markings of a mix of celtic knots and a few words written in kanji. The words read "I Love You," it touched Rin's heart so much, it almost brought tears. She looked at Luvia, who now has her arms out. Rin crashed into her, "Oh my, thank you it's really pretty."

"You're welcome." And they stayed like that for a bit, then Luvia broke it. "Say, I think I have the best place to spend your birthday, buuutt, it's a surprise. C'mon." Luvia was about to walk out, when Rin stopped her, Luvia looked confused. Rin's face was beet red, she walked up to her, looked her in the eyes, then pulled her in for a kiss. Luvia stood shocked, but then melted into the kiss, deepening it a bit more. Rin always enjoyed Luvia's taste, she always tasted like blue raspberries. They kiss for a bit longer, not before they both realized they need oxygen to breathe. "You ready now?" Luvia asked. Rin laughed but nodded. They walked out of her house and into the vehicle they will be using to travel.

~ An hour later~

The car stopped, meaning they reached their destination, Luvia hopped out, and went to the other side, to open the door and help Rin get out. When Rin got out, she looked at where they were and almost squealed. Luvia knew her way too well. Their destination, Disney Tokyo. (AN: I've always wanted to go, so might as well make characters go for me, right XD) She jumped up and hugged Luvia again, "Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, thank you, thank you!" Luvia chuckled a bit.

"Of course, a little birdie told me you wanted to go for your birthday, so... here we are. But I get the entire day with you. But afterwards, you can do your family time. In fact I actually in advance asked your parents if it's alright I take you, since they are the only ones who know about us."
"I'm gonna run out of ways to say thank you," Rin mumbled. Luvia let out a small laugh, then took Rin's hand and led her to the park.

After hours of walking around hand in hand, trying rides, going to shops, and having delicious churros, they both decided to end the fun trip. They get back to their ride and start talking about the place, not before taking a quick nap. Rin rested her head on Luvia's shoulder for the rest of the ride.

The ride stops in front of Rin's house, "Rin, we're here, time to get up," Luvia nudges her a bit.

Rin groans, "Five more minutes."

"Sorry, can't do that, your parents are waiting." Rin eventually gets off her shoulders and hops out of the car. Luvia helps her out, and they walk to the door. Before they knock on the door, Luvia gives her another kiss. Rin melts and kissed her more.

"Thank you so much for today, I really enjoyed it."
"I could tell, you looked like a little kid, kinda cute if you ask me," Luvia teased.
"Shush, I'm a kid at heart!" Rin huffed and crossed her arms. Luvia giggled, and gave her another peck.

"You're so cute." Luvia then knocked on the door. The door opened to reveal Rin's mom.

"Ah, Rin you're finally here, come on in," Rin hugged Luvia one more time, then said her goodbye. "And thank you again, Luvia for taking her, I thought she would like it more if you took her. She seems like she really enjoyed it."
"Oh she did, she looked like a little kid at Disney, it was quite adorable." They both chuckled. "Ah, I gotta go, thank you for letting me take her, she's all yours now. See you later, Mrs.Tohsaka." Luvia said her final goodbye, and headed back to her ride.

Hope you enjoyed. Tomorrow is Valentine's day, yay -_- but I will do a fanfic, probably of Yumary, since I love that ship so much
