Everything was pitch black I couldn't see anything in front of me or around me.

Light was nonexistent...what is light again? How long have I been here?

Should I...Did I even want to know?

Time seemed so endless here but at the same time there was no time. An actual eternal abyss. It was very serene, surreal, super peaceful. Could I stay here forever?

I wish I could. I thought that I would. That is until I felt it, the water surrounding my body until most of my body was covered in some sort of silky petal like texture. After it was finish with wrapping me around into some sort of goo or garb it pulled me into something akin to air? Searing burns starts to begin inside of me, as I struggled with remembering how to breathe I started to notice something wet and uncomfortable trailing my back. Cold. And strange. It was familiar somehow.

There were soft noises but it was so unclear that it made my head hurt trying to listen to it while trying to breathe. Once the burning stopped and breathing was possible I think I sat up?

Up and down? The concept seemed foreign but also familiar. Like breathing. Yeah, breathing. Breathing. Breathing. One thing that bothered me though...I could breathe but...

Everything was still dark though. I start to feel something on my face, tingly flesh. Very warm tingly flesh. Opening something that seemed to be my mouth I feel warm wet tingly flesh. Suspicions grew in me as I tentatively bite down on the flesh.

Instant pain. This warm tingly feeling was my hand. Or hands? My hands keep exploring my face and I find where my eyes are supposed to be.

I wonder if I could...?

Mixtures of shapes and color throw me in an onslaught loop of sensations. It was like, watching TV! TV? What is that? Sounds cools! While exploring the sensations of sight, I realize I'm in a dusty old part of what seemed like a fancy building that would of been glorious if renovated.

Noticing a sinister aura creeping around this place. It starts to notice me staring, and as a rule of thumb... it started to come closer, some sort of garble must of came out of my mouth because muh-mai-my thr-throat? It hurt. It really hurt. The dark aura tries to attack but a bright light somehow stops the menacing blow within its tracks and intertwines us with blooded red strings and with that the sinister aura disappears as if never was here in the first place.

More shapes and, perhaps, people? start to show up out of nowhere instead. They literally freeze in place. The loud noises where starting to become distinguishable. Oh. So the noise was coming from them. What were they trying to say? I try to get up to hear better only to drop to the cold dusty soft ground. The thought of my legs not working properly came to mind a little too late as I collapsed.

There was so much dust on this floor. Was the last thing I registered.

The next thing I knew I was back in darkness with a small difference.

And remember that sinister aura from earlier? Yeah. That shit was with me and we were meeting eyes to it's horrifying half formed eyes. It chortles hard with a normal 'sweet' grin. And to be honest? This was much more terrifying than how the shapeless creature was becoming a monstrous unnatural dragon with bird wings and scales. But what made me really want to scream though was his eyes and his spider-like tongue.

Don't! Don't ask how a spider-I mean tongue! Tongue! Looked like a freaking spider! But it did! I swear it did!

What he was morphing was terrifying even beyond calling him a monster.

"Ah, so you're the new Hoodling" he barks out a chuckle. His voice was extremely smooth and dangerous for it to exist in this world. One would think this creature was a devil.
