Summary: After aunt May dies, Peter has to go into the system. When Tony finds out he decides to adopt Peter.

Third person POV

It was three weeks since the tragic death of May Parker. Three weeks since Peter was in the system. Three weeks of hiding that he's in the system from Tony Stark, Peter's mentor, his father-figure.

Peter just finished his last class of the day and was currently walking to his locker. He got a text from Happy saying he was waiting for him outside. Peter grabbed his books and put them in his bag, he said goodbye to Ned and they did their handshake before Peter left to go to Happy.

Before Peter could walk outside Flash made some comments about Peter having to go to the orphanage and he punched him in the face, Peter winced, rolled his eyes and walked outside. When he saw the black SUV he immediately walked over and got in the car.

Peter POV

"Hey Happy!", "Hi kid, how was school?". "It was alright", "Wh- Woah, kid, what happened to your face?!", Happy says, "Oh, that. Yeah, I tripped and fell on my face during PE.", "If you say so kid.", Happy says whilst looking at me with a suspicious look on his face.

Peter POV

"Thanks for driving, Happy!", I say as I get out of the car. He just gives me a nod and I walk inside the tower. I greet the receptionist and I scan my badge as I walk through the scanner. "Peter Parker, welcome back Peter. Should I announce to Boss that you have arrived?", I hear the familiar voice of FRIDAY say, "Hey FRI, yeah sure. Could you tell me where Mr. Stark is at the moment?", "Boss is currently in the common room. Shall I take you to him?", "Yeah, thanks FRI", I say as the elevator is going up to the common room.

I arrive at the floor of the common room and I walk in. I walk to the kitchen and put my bag on the floor, "Hey guys!", I say to the Avengers who are sprawled over the couches and chairs in the common room. As soon as I say this all heads turn to me and Mr. Stark, Nat and Bucky immediately get up when they see my face. 'Shit I forgot about my face'. "Hey, bu- Woah, what the hell happened to your face?!", "Language!", I hear Steve yell and I see Mr. Stark just rolling his eyes. "Uh, I tripped and fell on my face during PE..", Nat and Bucky give me a knowing look and Mr. Stark just says, "If you say so, Underoos."

Tony POV

Peter and I are working on my suits right now and I just can't stop thinking about the fact I found out through Nat that Peter is in the system and he has been for the past three weeks.

"Hey bud?", "Yeah?", he says. "Why didn't you tell me?".

Peter POV

"Why didn't you tell me?", I hear Mr. Stark say and my heart just skipped a beat. 'No no no no, how the hell did he find out?!', "Tell you what?", "Well, uh... You know, about you being in the system.", "I didn't think it was important to tell you...?", I say and Mr. Stark just stares at me with a hurt look on his face. We stand like this for about two minutes before I turn around and run out the door.

"What's wrong, маленький паук?", I hear Nat say, "Nothing, мама паук.", I say before grabbing my bag and walking to the elevator, I step in and the doors close just as Mr. Stark runs to the elevator.

Peter POV

It's been a week since I've been to the Avengers tower, a week since I saw my father figure, Tony Stark.

When I got back to the orphanage, I walked in and was about to walk to my room. Until my eyes fell on someone. There he was, in all his glory, Tony Stark. When he saw me he walked over to me. "Mr. Stark, what are you doing here?", "Hey bud, I'm here to adopt.". My heart stopped working, he had decided to adopt and now I won't be able to see him again. I force a smile and say, "That's amazing, Mr. Stark!", "I'm glad you think so, Underoos, because if you're okay with it, I'm here to adopt you.", "What?! Are you serious?", "Yeah, unless you don't want me to", he says immediately and I just hug him and say, "Of course I want to be adopted by you!! Wait, does this mean I get to call you dad?", "I mean, yeah, if you want to", I hear him say. "Okay, I love you dad", "I love you too, bud", he says whilst hugging me tighter.
