Maya's POV written by ImASong:

I dig the metal stake straight through his eye, kicking him in the chest to send his limp body away from me. I turn quickly and look around the house at the littered, mangled bodies. I sit myself on the counter and wipe the bloody stake on my leg before checking my arms for any scrapes. If even one of these filthy creatures scratches me, I'll turn into one of them. I've seen it happen in front of my own two eyes.

I hop off of the counter and start to raid the cabinets for any type of untouched food. I find two cans of tuna and one can of cream of mushroom soup. For me, this is a good hit but it will only last me a little while, as I have to keep my energy up in order to fight off this vermin.

I walk around the house, stepping over the bodies on the floor. I hear a loud bang and I turn quickly, jumping as I see my own reflection in a shattered glass of mirror. I walk towards it, taking in my long brown hair and dirty face. I usually avoided all reflective surfaces, so seeing my reflection was somewhat of a startle. I brush my tangled hair behind my ear and wipe off a smudge of dried blood under my left eye. I had changed so much. I used to be that sweet, pretty little girl on the block, but now I was a ruthless killer with no one left. They were all undead, roaming this earth to feed on more human blood. There can't be many people left in this world, at least I haven't seen any for several months now. The disease has taken over like crazy over this half year.

As I start to comb through my hair I feel a tug on my foot and I am pulled to the ground, my chin slamming against the wood floor and my teeth biting onto my tongue. I turn quickly, shaking my leg rapidly as I grab the stake by my side. I see one of the zombies pulling on my boot, trying to sink his rotting teeth into my used leather. I slam the metal onto his head several times, trying to get his attention. As soon as he unleashes his jaw and looks up at me, I slam the stake into his eye, letting out a gasp as the blood gushes from it, soaking the floor around me. I leap to my feet before it soaks my clothes and yank the stake from his mutilated face, getting up, and stomping on his face, making sure there is no way he's still alive.

I walk out the door, brushing my hair back. I see a heard of zombies turn my way as they see me, low groans coming from their throat. I take off into a run, smiling as they come after me. My name is Maya Skye, I am 21 and I will survive for as long as I can. I will not give up.

So bring it on.

Kyra's POV written by Naya_Tomlinson:

I look frantically from left to right, not wanting to have to kill anything else. I hold my bat tightly in one hand, a knife in the other. I have a small shotgun in one of my pockets, probably not the best place to put it, but if I die from getting shot, its better than dying from them. I decide there isn't anything near enough to harm me so I put my knife back into its seperate pocket and drag my bat with me. Yes, I have a baseball bat, and yes, I use it as a weapon. I didn't really have any other weapons, I had a baseball bat or nothing, so of course, I chose the baseball bat. I look around at my surroundings, mostly dirt and little patches of green, I could see a building in the distance. Most of the time everything was dead, even us, well, we're undead. Except for a few people around the world, and I happen to be one of the few.

Okay, so, My name is Kyra Owens, I am 18, I love music(even though there isn't alot of that anymore.) and I am one of the few survivors of the Zombie Apocalypse. Yes, it actually is happening, they are finally here. I didn't really believe in all of this Zombie stuff when I was younger, everyone always said they were coming, I didn't doubt it, but I didn't completely agree with them. I have been alone for half a year now, that's around the time when it all started, so basically I had been alone from the very start. It's just one of the few things you have to get used too, the lonliness of survival. Then again, I probably couldn't cope with having to lose more people, so it might be best I am alone, but a companion never hurts. I'll just have to get used to it. I hear a familiar sound coming from behind me, I quickly turn around, swinging my bat. The next thing I know I hear a thud to the ground and feel something splatter all over me. I look down in disgust, seeing the zombies blood all over me. I look down to see it decapitated, I use my sleeve to wipe the blood off my bat and run towards the building.

It takes a few minutes to get to the building, but I finally figure out what it is, I am standing in front of a Farm house, Its a really low chance, but there could possibly be food in there, I haven't eaten for a few days, if there isn't any food, maybe there is weapons, again, very low chance. Even a low chance is better than no chance at all though, I walk closer to the barn door, gripping onto the bat, ready to hit anything that might pop out at me. I quickly pull open the barn door, swinging my bat, hitting nothing but air. I bang loudly on the door with my bat, making sure there isn't anything in here. Once I'm positive there is no sign of the undead in here I run in and close the door behind me,  I start raiding the barn for any sign of possible food or weapons.

" Crap." I mutter, not finding anything useful. I look out the broken window of the barn, noticing the sun was going down. This was probably the most safe place I have been sicne this whole thing started, so I will stay here for as long as I can. I grab a bunch of hay and make a somewhat comfortable bed hidden in a dark corner. I close my eyes, gripping onto my bat as I try to get a little sleep, but still fully alert of everything around me. Once I actually start feeling a hint of sleep, I get the sensation of falling, and everything goes black. When I open my eyes again, I see my little brother staring straight back at me. This isn't possible, this is not happening.
