Tonight was yet another very exhausting, but a fun, enjoyable night regardless. Jesse and his friends were out slaying monsters in the moon's beautiful beam of white lighting up the night sky with millions of stars blinking every now and then. The new order, along with the honorary member, Lukas, would go out on some nights to burn off any energy they had left by fighting monsters. They all fought side by side, keeping a close eye on one another.
Jesse and Petra sliced and diced through a horde of zombies and spiders with enchanted diamond swords, Olivia and Lukas took advantage of this opportunity to do some target practice with a bow and many arrows, their targets being creepers and skeletons, and Axel decided to fight with nothing but his bare hands against whatever stood in his way. They all continued to fight, showing off some pretty amazing tricks to each other in the process, and soon they decided that they would call it a night. Every body but Axel put away their weapons and began to walk back home to rest up. Axel, Petra, and Olivia huddled close going on about the battle while Lukas and Jesse stayed close behind, hand in hand. They both smiled softly at the other as they walked together, happy that they could be together without anybody judging or discriminating them.
A couple hours later, everyone was back at the new and improved tree house they'd worked on together. They climbed up the ladder, one by one, until everybody was back inside.
"Woo! Tonight was the best! Though it's pretty late and I feel like I could pass out at any minute, I'm gonna be getting to bed now. Good night guys!"
"Good night Olivia."
Olivia chuckled to herself as she heard all of them say that in such perfect unison, then she walked into her room gently closing the door behind her. Soon, everybody else got ready for bed and went into their rooms.
~ Quick time skip to dawn~
The time was now around 7 to 8 in the morning. The sum began to rise slowly with some of its bright light barely peaking through the closed blinds of Lukas's bedroom. He was still in bed curled up in a couple thick blankets, fast asleep. That was until the bits of light coming through inched closer and closer to him, soon hitting him directly on his eyelids. Lukas groaned loudly, pulling one of the blankets over his head to shield his eyes from the sun's rays not wanting to get out of bed just yet. Now that he wasn't going to be blinded right when he did open his eyes, he smiled, exhaling softly and slowly. He was at peace, but it didn't last too long when a certain someone managed to sneak into his room, climb on the bed with him and pull him in for a hug. He let out a quick and short gasp. He didn't know who this was. Then he heard a familiar voice whisper, "Good morning, babe."
He popped his head out of the blankets and found that his and Jesse's face were just barely an inch away from each other. Lukas was about to retreat back underneath the covers, but he was stopped when Jesse took the opportunity to pull him closer and didn't let go. Lukas squirmed trying to get out of hid boyfriend's grip, but no matter how much he tried, every attempt failed him. When he realized it was no use escaping, he admitted his defeat and Jesse gave him such a silly grin showing that he was proud of himself. Lukas chuckled and nuzzled his face into the brunet's shoulder, mumbling, "You're such a dork, Jesse...a cute dork, that is."
They both found themselves laying their holding each other. It was quite a peaceful morning. They wondered why nobody else was up yet, but they weren't complaining.
Ok...this is way shorter than what I normally publish, so I apologize for that. Writer's block hit me like a truck once again, so this isn't the best, but I need to get out at least one chapter for the rewritten version of True Love Can't Be Broken :'] I hope you enjoyed it anyway!
