Skylar

2-Skye, 3 months

All was dark and quiet in the house. Skye's parents had brought her into their room to sleep to stop her from waking her sister Skylar. Normally Skye was fine sleeping in her crib with Skylar, as neither of the cried much, but tonight was not normal. Even as a baby Skye could feel that the darkness was darker, the shadows longer. She knew Skylar and their parents could feel it too, though none of them knew why yet.

There came a loud bang from the front door. Skye's father got up and left to see what was going on. Skye's mother picked Skye up and carried her to the bedroom door to watch what was going on. Suddenly three strange men, one with black hair, one blonde, and one brunette raced into the house carrying rifles and shoved Skye and Skylar's father out of the way. They all wore identical black combat suits with a hydra patch on the arm. "Hide Skye! I'll get Skylar!" Skye's father shouted to her mother.

Skye and her mother ducked back into the bedroom and raced for the closet. They flung themselves inside and slammed the door, then blocked it behind them with a chair. They could hear Skylar crying and sounds of fighting going on downstairs, where the girls' bedroom was. Suddenly a gunshot rang out, and Skye's mother began to sob. She left Skye in her bedroom and ran to stop them.

The leader of the group grabbed Skye's mother and shot her with a tranquilizer dart. As she passed out, she began to sob when she saw her husband lying on the floor in a pool of his own blood. The leader, holding Skylar, directed his men to pick her up and carry her out to their car. Skye, still hidden in the closet, had no choice but to cry hopelessly as her mother was taken away from her forever. As the men got into the car and threw Skye's mother in the trunk, a family was torn apart forever.

Minutes after the mysterious strangers left, another black car pulled up to the house. Skye, by this time, had cried herself to sleep in the closet. Her father had left in search of the men that had taken Skylar and her mother. These new mysterious strangers searched the house top to bottom before finally finding Skye asleep in the closet. One of the men picked her up and whispered softly. "Don't worry little girl. We'll find out who you are and who your parents are. We're SHIELD agents, and we'll take care of you."
