Flowers

There are days that I don't have friends, I also don't know the meaning of it. I don't have someone to talk to, so the only thing I do is just watch other kids to play. And the only thing I do is just study, that's the only thing important to me.

Until I met him. RJ.

He was the one who started talking to me first. He was so talkative that day, he won't stop talking even though I'm not replying to anything he said. Until he made me talk to him, I realized that time that I can be talkative too.

We were just kids that time. When I still don't know anything. But when I met him, he teach me a lot. He taught me all the things I didn't know. Without him I don't know how to communicate with others. I learned a lot because of him.

I got close to his parents and he got close with my cousins. There's a time he always come to my house to play with my cousins.

Then the valentines day is getting near, only three days left before valentines. He was not my seatmate anymore, but he still managed to talk to me. He even shouted my name that time and our teacher said, "Stop shouting RJ. Do you have a crush on her?" I blushed that time, that's when I realized I have a crush on him.

When our class was over that time he talked to me and said, "Malapit na Valentines day pangako ko sayo bibigyan kiya ng bulaklak kahit malaki pa 'yang gusto mo." He made me blush that my whole face got red.

It's valentine's day. I went to school early that time just for him. But when I got there, he still wasn't around. Until the first subject started and he just came. He was late while holding a flower. I was thinking perhaps that flower was supposed to be mine.

When our adviser gave the boys time to give all the flowers they had. He was the last one who will give it. I was hoping he'd give it to me but I guess I was wrong.

"I'll give this flower to my crush, her name is Irish."

It broke my heart when I heard it. Not only that, I got broken because you promised me you'll give me a flower. But, who am I to complain? I was the one who believed you'd really do it. Promises were really made to be broken, I guess...

After all of that we suddenly weren't close anymore. We're not like what we used to be. He changed himself when the two of them was already in a relationship. And maybe he forgot about us being friends.

Until now, there's still no communication between us, Besides how can we have communication if he's on another country now?

My only wish for him is to be happy with her and stay strong.
